- I see no reason to let Kirby have all the fun with these no jump challenges. Today we'll be testing Link by seeing if you can beat The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild without jumping or gliding. That's right we'll be defeating every Divine Beast and Ganon with NO Jumps and NO Paraglider.

It's the first 3D Zelda to have a dedicated jump button. Up until then, the 3D games only had the autojump when you walk off a ledge fast enough.
Technically at the start of the video that was a lie. Link's Awakening didn't have a jump button, but an item that you can use to jump so you're right, sort of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1. (in response to your first reply) link's awakening is a 2d game, not a 3d one. the op specified 3d games. there were plenty of 2d games that had a jump button or item that let you jump which is practically a jump button (zelda 2, link's awakening, minish cap, four swords, etc.)
2. (in response to your second reply) not the game boy doesn't even have a y and x button, items go on a and b. all of them. you can switch any item you have (including the sword) to either a or b. neither of which even have to be the sword in fact
@@gamecavalier3230 let's say you want to use an item that isn't the sword or the roc's feather. you have to give up either jumping or the sword. you can do either, but why would you unequip the sword, so ofc you're gonna unequip the roc's feather

Kind of ironic that the one divine beast beatable in the pauseless run is the nightmarish one here.
It is funny how it ends up working out that way. Different challenges even in the same game can become such vastly different experiences.

This epic gamer found a no paraglider glitch so I’m gonna call it the cMeeCraft Paraglider glitch
it's not so much a glitch as simply abusing frames

More evidence for why Link never used the paraglider for vah medoh is that no stamina got used so no gliding occurred

But in terms of effort, saying this is lazy is just completely wrong man. Just look at it. It’s an hour long video that has been heavily edited / scripted from start to finish. It’s not the best video ever, but the effort gone into this is absolutely massive. He must’ve spent tens of hours just editing. It’s impressive, especially for a smaller channel

The strategy he uses at 24:04 is the exact same strategy I use even if I’m not doing a jumpless run
If you're doing Ruta before Medoh, pretty sure that it's the only way. There's no spot higher than the trunk which you can glide from without Revali's gale (or bringing in items which I never have the foresight to grab, namely a flint and 4 wood, but screw that lame strategy.) This method is the only one I even know exists.
Um you just lower it as far down as it can go then glide from the little doorway you use to get on to the trunk.

actually, revaliis gale IS REALLY GOOD. you scale stuff, and it makes you gain bullet time and a HUGE hieght oost so yeah. the most useless is daruks protection cus its loud, and usless late game

7:20 you could also use the no fall damage glitch which involves throwing an item and then instantly swapping items to reset the fall damage, I had to do that when I was attempting no stamina, as I couldnt climb or use the paraglider to get down

Amazing challenge video, I loved the montage trying to get to the bird terminal. Such an epic edit, and I could really feel the drama because I didn’t know if it would be possible or not in the end. I’m so glad it was!
Holy shit, I honestly didn't expect you to make it - in large part because of the Beast Ganon fight, but you did it, you fucking did it and it was great! And the moment when you finally managed to get to that final terminal in Medoh? That was so cool, and the set-up amazing. You have more than earned my like for this video!
A midair wind bomb is possible without gliding or jumping. The timing is different but it is possible.

You are not reflecting on what you did, nor are you telling us how to do it. No, we are along for the ride as well, and the style of narration makes us feel like we experienced it alongside you which I genuinely appreciate.

So I love the video. The parts I really love was the forth divine beast were you talk about how you work hard to do frame prefect glider cancel and the hours you spent on the last node. Use Revali to be like a wise voice that seem to be talking directly to you added alot of emotion though at times it didnt line up very well. I also enjoy the "Great Cucco road trip adventure" and the banner you added to it as a more lighthearted moment.
The joke that landed the most flat on me was the flag pole for the last boss as it felt more force in a way that I didnt find as creative as the other 2. But overall, I want you to bring this level of passion to every video you make (probably impossible but still). I felt at the end of this when you said this was one of your favor challenges, I believe you, I felt that with you. At the forth divine beast I was actively cheering for you. Please please please do another video like this. I enjoy all your challenge videos but I feel this one had a flare of something even better.

I think the solution to the forced glide controversy is whether or not you gained any benefit (slowed fall speed) from the glider being "pulled out". (or more apt, being nearly pulled out)
I was terrified that Dark Beast Ganon would end the run after seeing another youtuber face the eye closing mechanic.
I assume you're referencing PointCrow's no stamina video here? He actually could have won - there's a glitch where you can get outside the barrier that doesn't require stamina, at which point the AI on DBG freezes and the eye stops closing if you can make the shot from that distance.
@@zweihanderpancakes1855 he did go back and beat it eventually! tho he did a glitch/exploit where he parried a bomb explosion (which puts him in brief bullet time) which allowed him go get the shot off and kill dbg

I think Revali would've done a spit-take or double-take upon seeing how you managed to beat Vah Medoh without needing to fly. I know I did the latter.
Also, fun fact: Ancient Arrows one-shot Medoh's cannons, and the Ancient Bow makes aiming arrows a lot easier by making them arc way less. On top of that, Amiibo assistance allows you to gain a Bow of Light or Bow of Twighlight before the Ganon fight.
