I know it's not really a glitch, I just didn't know what else to call it.
Also, I love Falco's line at the end of the video.

I love how after Wolf explodes, there's that break where you fly around as if the game is thinking "Oh crap, what the Hell do I do now?"
It's a glitchy state.
Imagine if Wolf was playing the game and this happened to him.

I at first thought it would say that if that happens.

I think it's a result of an oversight in coding flags -- you haven't 'failed' the mission until Star Wolf evacuates, and the win condition is "Beat Star Wolf Before They Escape," not "Beat Star Wolf Before The Timer Hits 0:00." I'm no programmer though.

Actually, this IS a glitch, in fact, you're not SUPPOSED to win when you're losing, when that happens the game gets confused and doesn't know what to do hence why the timer said 00:00:00 when you're not supposed to be active, apparently the timer ONLY applies if a Starwolf team member survives and gets away, upon the last members defeat the timer is null, and yes, it can be null at 00:00:00 and therefore extend the level, in Speedruns this is avoided.
Well... seems natural that it would be avoided in speedruns. If you're running the timer down that hard on Fortuna your run is basically over.

this is crazy but i tried it before it takes memory and good aim and i done a once in a lifetime and a hard to get glitch which occurs in the astroid field and the other one that i forgot what its called. I called it the unlimited spin glitch it is weird as hell. you get it by collecting the circles that make you spin. if you just miss the last one but touch it, it will either continue spinning until u beat the boss or u die etc. or your ship and partners will be having those sonic speed bodies.
