    Love the videos! I 3D print too on an anycubic proton 4k and I've found it's easier and leaves less mess if you remove the supports before curing the pieces fully in the wash and cure station. Also, you should try modpodge mixed with black craft paint. The mod podge has a varnish in it that hardens the foam and makes it way more durable. Looking forward to more builds!

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I have a bit of a different process. I prefer curing first and not handling wet resin while removing supports. I dunk the cured pieces in hot water so the supports fall off. Works great and saves me a ton of gloves.

    I'm curious about your airbrush setup, I notice you don't use a box or any "walls", don't you get unwanted splashes on your stuff? Very nice btw love your channel :)

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you! Regarding my setup, I usually set up some folded cardboard on my desk when doing significant spraying like priming models. When it's detail work like in this video, I don't bother since there's no risk of overspray. I always wear a 3M mask and open a window. I'm looking into a spray booth to streamline the process.

    I thought there was nothing wrong with the original floor, but seeing the improved one made it clear that it didn't have the correct dimensions or style. The new floor is also more "readable", making it more apparent what's regular floor and what's a trap door. Good call redoing it.
    You don't have to tell us why you use moss, I would say it's your signature by now! It's obligatory for all your builds! I hope you continue to put moss on everything you make, even if it wouldn't make sense! Like if you were to create a sterile operating theatre on a space station, you'd call it aggressive alien fungi or something. Nice tough with the airbrushed green around it, I agree it makes it blends everything together. Have you done this technique previously?
    I'm assuming you're not using your work lights for those glamour shots at the end of the video, but the gallows look much darker there. Is it just the lighting for that scene?

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  ปีที่แล้ว

      "Agressive alien fungi" 😂 It's true though-it's my favourite. I airbrushed green in a couple of videos, I think the spawning pool and maybe the fountain. I really like the look of combining flock + airbrush so I'll probably be doing more of it.
      The lighting setup is much different at the end compared to the hobby light used throughout the crafting process. It's lit to be a bit more dramatic.

    Awsome build, you have quickly become my favorite crafter on youtube, I just love the style of your builds. What type of hand held hot wire tool are you using for the wood grain effect?

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Glad to hear that. And it was one I found on Amazon. They're all pretty much the same. The only thing that's important is that it has an adjustable temp. Otherwise it'd blast through the foam.

    Mate, I am also a TH-cam content creator, so I pay attention to minor details, such as audio - before and when you speak, there’s a humming sound of your mic noticable. I recommend you to start using some live audio editing software, such as Reaper, it will help you to smoothen the voice ;)
    As always, great video, you encouraged me to start this hobby, so all the best to you and the channel!

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Elder! I noticed this as well. I actually exchanged the mic for a new one thinking it was an issue with the product. It's still happening though. I'm doing some digging and I think I've found a few solutions that I'll try out for my next video to correct this. Ideally, I can fix this during recording so I don't have to resort to audio software.

    I may have missed it on your parts list, but what are you using to prime with in your airbrush?

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  ปีที่แล้ว

      That was Athonian Camoshade that I shot through my airbrush. A shade paint made by Games Workshop. Great for simulating a mossy look.

    Hello, I would like to know what paint you use or can you recommend, I want to start creating a scenario for personal adornment, that is, a mini model. I would like to buy some figures but I can get most of them unpainted.

    • @OkayHobbyTime
      @OkayHobbyTime  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For terrain pieces I would recommend craft paint such as Apple Barrel or Folkart. Brands may be different based on where you live, though!
