i almost cry whenever i watch yankunba minteh, i can still remember playing against him at bakoteh football field. there are lot of talents in the gambia even better than yankuba minteh, but his love and determination for football is above any player I have seen. Yankuba minteh cry whenever he lose a match
Am a Gambian and i can tell you most of Gambian youths are either United, Barca or Madrid fans. Newcastle did great getting him early but Minteh is heading to the top especially if 3 of those call
He's so talented and improves so quick! I think Newcastle should take him for next season and i think he could do similar as he did this season for Feyenoord. So getting minutes in the first half of the season, training hard and improving further, then forcing his way in to the first team in the second half! I've seen some wingers in the Eredivisie the last couple years, but no one beats defenders like Minteh. Not Gakpo, not Madueke and certainly not Antony. Feyenoord had Reiss Nelson on loan two years ago from Arsenal and Minteh is younger and levels above him too. I would love to seen him another year at Feyenoord too, but the Dutch defenders are not a big challenge to him, so for his development he should move to a higher level.
1 more season at Feyenoord will be the best for all three parties. I think he will be benched at Newcastle next year what will destroy his talent improving. While at Feyenoord he can become the main man next season in the title race as in the UCL. We at Feyenoord really love this great talent
