Signed from Juventus in 1999, Thierry Henry would go to become an Invincible, a Double winner, a Premier League record holder, the clubs all-time leading goalscorer (228) and be honoured with a statue at Emirates Stadium.
Henry's Arsenal record is outstanding, winning two League titles, three FA Cups, four Golden Boots and five Player of the Year awards, and to think he wasn't even considered as a striker when he joined the club!

Actually he was talking about the whole situation there that arsenal only needed 1 point to win the league and after the match spurs players were jumping in front of his face, so as a normal human i think you will get annoyed if not disgusted. So that was the context, may be if spurs players had not celebrated in his face for getting a draw then he may have not said the same whereas he had all the rights there to celebrate the invincible league triumph.
I am a United fan, but he was by far my favourite player. This man cannot be forgotten.

There's a crop of players in the current squad not strong enough to wear that shirt, live for the shirt die for the shirt! I just don't see that anymore I don't see that type of character and fight regardless off ability you need that heart to play for arsenal. I think Arteta understands that but trying to instil that into today's players where money seems more important that pride or love for the club is going to be very difficult I only hope one day maybe he can spear head arsenal again and get santi in a coaching role too ❤️

You didn’t have to be an Arsenal fan to realise how good this guy was. I’m a United fan and even though he hurt us quite a few times with some of the goals he scored against us, there was still a grudging admiration. I remember that goal he scored against us at Highbury in the 00/01 season I think it was. When he flicked it up and volleyed it in the net. Unbelievable. One of the all time greats.
I remember watching that game. That goal made me sit up and pay attention. I knew that this was someone special.

I was there the day the king came back, against Leeds in the cup in January 2012. It was a gritty game, but you knew the moment he came on it was gonna be him that decided that game! I remember hugging strangers, crying and knowing I was witnessing a true Arsenal great get a beautiful swan song...

When they were talking about Henry coming back on loan I was nervous, I didn’t know how it would go and didn’t want him to tarnish his magnificent legacy.
Will never forget the FA cup Leeds game it was my sons 12th birthday. Apart from Anfield 89 never have I felt so emotional watching a match.
He uses words like 'kill' and 'suffer.' Guy was cold.

It's not the fault of the current players, it's the faults of Arsenal as a team who have failed to rekindle the passion of that era on the team. They cannot actually replace a manager like Arsene Wenger since he left and the team have continued to go down and down since Arteta took over

I'm 27 and I grew up thinking that he was the best player in the history. I remember that every sunday night when the french tv showed some highlights about the others europeans leagues, every week during 8 straight years, this guy was scoring goals, assists and embarassing defenders.
I almost cried more when Arsenal lost against Barcelona than when we lost against Italy a few weeks later (what a sad summer lmao)

As an Arsenal fan of 40 years, the best tribute i can pay Henry is that when he was taking players on and scoring, beating 2,3 4,5 players he done it because he loved to. A sheer joy to watch. Don't ever compare Thierry to the likes of Aguero, Rooney, Drogba, Suarez or any other striker. Thierry had the agility, pace, physicality, shot power, dribbling and best of all his finishing was pure world-class. He won the World Cup & Euro's, 2 Premier League titles (+Invincble season), domestic cups with Arsenal, champions league final with Arsenal, Treble with Barca's best-ever team. No other striker compares to him.
