Hello Shane, gun fight at the allotment corral, 😁 sweet group there mate, 👍 there's a barrel & cylinder designation on the block, it's three Number's back slash three number, eg' 450/280 the one you're shooting looks like the longer version to the compact I did recently, great review, made a pleasant Sunday even better, Best Regards, Jon 👍 Hawkes Eye TV 👍
Been looking at the mk2 with a lot of interest. This video has sold me. The gun seems to have no bad points whatsoever. Looks like a rifle, great shot count, regulated and all for around £500! And l haven’t even mentioned the accuracy! I like to own my Weihrauch springers and one PCP. I’ve owned most of the top makes, even an FX which was ridiculously priced and the worst I’ve ever owned! These cheaper rifles with little or no pedigree are showing the big boys up. Must get one! And great shooting boys!
Cheers Kevin, John was shooting the mk2 today , and also got another gun to review very soon , One that hasn’t been around for too long , and most will like very much but costing abit more than the Hortitsia , my favourite is the Kozak , but I’m biased as I prefer Side Action rather than bolt , but everyone to there own preference, cheers buddy take care Shane
Well I think John was just a bit nervous with that 22k trophy 🏆 on the line. I think there should be a rematch! 😆 I enjoyed the video. A few laughs with my morning ☕️ coffee. Thanks
Look lovely them pair and good set up John 💯👌 the grouping on that mk1 is one of the best ive seen. Great vid and nice to see a collaboration of you both. Great vid 💪🏻
I have the same Mk 2 seen in the video. Lovely and accurate carbine. Anti-double loading. Light Ash stock is comfortable to heft. Good value. Great for hunting.
Excellent vlog Shane, great to see a couple of mates having a laugh and fun shooting. I agree with the others you are use to the camera & John was nervous, so you had 5p worth of advantage so I’d call that a draw 😀😀👍
Worth waiting for your reviews on the pair of hortitsias enjoyed the pair of you enjoying the shoot out.thats what freinds are for.take care and stay safe and well till the next review 👍🔫👍🔫👍
I had the mk2 version in .177 ,had it from new, only kept it for about 6 months couldn't get on with the cocking system, incredibly stiff , i put alot of pellets through it but it never got any easier, so i sold it , 😁👍
Yeh dam right, Mark , a few vids with me and John coming up when the weather brightens up, he has just bought a BSA r12 and a Reximex ixia , and ordered a new Diana Air King 54 , , so more to come soon , cheers Shane
Nice work Shane , great little fun video
Thanks Alan

I bet you was happy with that grouping,Shane especially when you got bullseye on first shot go on pal👍
Thanks Richard , but I expect that sort of accuracy at 17 mtrs from any half decent gun to be fair , thanks Shane

That one I was using was to stiff and mechanical for my liking too buddy , cheers Shane
Can I fit a gas reader to a smk,
Do you mean pressure gauge or something 🤔
John was shooting from an unstable position, not the best position for precision shooting.
Credit were credits due though.
Also John, he’s more of a sore winner than a sore looser 😂
Shooting with a friend , beats winning a trophy any day , even if its a real gold plated one ... besides , you can take the mick in private.
