i think a great mod is the bbeautyful blend of old n new... so u cant see the new..but u feel it. for ME its brakes, steering/suspension... stereo/sound quality. i dont mind convertg to hei, but i'm content w a carb set up !!! less 2 go wrong 😮. efi IS wonderful when its working as it was designed but when it goes ur average guy cant pop the hood n get her running shorrtly. it goes badly and costly. i have a 73 chev and a 03 chev,, it takes HOURS ! to take off enuf to get to what i need to fix... not to mention remember all the bolt plavement !!!!! the 72 K5..... i ccould sleep under the hood !!!😅. i can look down the carb n if she aint sqirtin... i got a fuel issue ! easy. no software needed 😊. But hey, each to his own, that the wonder of individualism😅
Here's something weird. I was just sitting here snacking on Chicken In A Biscuit (for breakfast) and I was thinking this would be a great time for a Rudy video.
It was cool to meet you at the car show in mnt Carmel jct that was the furthest I have drove my red 1966 C10 to go to a show but I'm bringing it even further to Washington to that show the end of October
What a fun project! Brothers working together brings me back over 40 years ago with my brother working together on our Jeep projects. Thank you much! Keep up the great team work!
I grew up riding around in my Dad's '63 C10 longbed. It was a great truck, but gutless with the Inline-6. It was crazy reliable though and super easy to work on. She was a great truck.
Definitely my favorite build. My stepdad had a ‘64 c10 with a 427 Corvette Big Block powering it. I believe the trans was a TH400. That thing was a BEAST!! This was in the late 70’s early 80’s. I miss that truck!!
I would have liked to see you keep the straight 6, is that still called a stove bolt in the 60's? Keep the green paint, re do the wood bed, and paint everything else like new. Put some nice Vintique wheels or wires on on it and roll.
Hey Kaulin, try really hard not to limp. I blew out my left ACL back in 1983. I had orthoscopic surgery in it in the early 90's. It took me years to train my brain to stop favoring my left leg. I still find myself doing it to this day. You really need to concentrate and use both legs equally or it'll throw your entire body out of alignment. BTW, my ex wife was a geriatric physical therapist.
Nice job Rudy!! I love the way you just do it. I would have no idea what it would take to put that truck body and cab on a totally different frame. Awesome stuff!!!
For those difficult to remove bolts it’s been my experience that pneumatic impact wrenches have more ugga dugga power than the battery powered variant. I like to run mine at 150psi.
Man I love that style Chevy please tell me you're going to use the bed of the truck as well and don't pay it please the fatina on it's beautiful I wouldn't even clear it
Great to see Kaulin back to working on his truck. Great Team Work from the Brothers Wetzel. I know their parents are very proud of their Sons. This should be a very interesting build.. MWP Cosby, Tn
So good to see brothers who can work together! Awesome video!
Does that get you hard?
Facts
I'm so glad that Kaulin is doing better. Good to see you walking around with no trouble. Good luck with the truck.
The old Chevy 250s Straight 6s were meaner than people think!!
"Protecting it from the Gov't" -- Rudy
Well, after you're done smelling that nasty tire smoke, you get to clean up that black tire dust. Brilliant !!
Hi Rudy. It's nice to see brothers working together.
That is one Bad Ass looking chevy ❤! Thxs
Cut out the sburban floorpan and combine it with the truck cab for a body drop
“Protecting it from the government! Cracked me up.
That truck is gonna turn out beautiful... can't wait to see the rest of the work.. 😊🤘🏼🇺🇲
Love watching Rudy
Of course that ol 6 is gonna start, it ain’t got no sensors or computers in the way, just get her a little spark and she’ll go
so true !!!!!!!!!! no fuss no computertech crap !!! fuel n spark 😂

I never understood you southerners and your chicken biscuit breakfasts 😂
And now I’m thinking it’s a good time for some chicken in a biscuit
Think I’m gonna go and buy some Chicken in a Biscuit
Dang it now I'm craving chicken in a biscuit 😂🤣👍🏾
They should sponsor Rudy. I had never eaten them before. Now I can’t eat just one.
Gonna look and drive awesome when you're done!
Whoever put the ominous noise around the key turn at 1:30 deserves praise. I appreciate that effort.
great to see the brothers working together again on the C10 dream truck....

SO excited to watch the build on this truck !
"That my friends is how you do a burn out!" Rudy! not running to last stock burnout. That's right!
When it comes to stubborn bolts remember the old adage, it can’t be tight if it’s liquid!
Rudy longer videos please 🙏. Cheers from perth Australia 🇦🇺
3:21 - the powerful combination of a GM I6 (230?) torque and an SM420. Let's go, baby!
My favorite of all the Wetzel builds. 😮
I'm glad Mr Higgins is supervising the job! 😁

There is a special, awe inspiring feeling one gets working on a barn find vehicle. Its just that this one was found outside the barn instead of in!
Nice to see you get the cab mounted. God bless you all.
Always good to see Brothers working together on things. Its going to be awesome when it's done
Looks nice thanks for letting me watch.

We need more of this build ASAP 👍🏻👍🏻
That's fricken baaaadddaaaasss! I can't wait to see it in action when it's all done!

Thanks for showing!
Good morning Rudy this is going to be a bad ass truck when you guys get done. I am looking forward to this build series.
I learned to drive in a very similar 63, just had the V8, big back window, and was white. Miss that thing like crazy.

Something so satisfying about watching a tire smoke! The build is looking great. What a cool truck.
