- in this video I show you how to change your radio frequency on your bmw e60 and e90 now I know a lot of people import cars from these countries and they are set as standard to these radio stations from factory so therefore in this video I go over how to change the radio frequency and set it for your country and your region

i just bought 2009 525i e60 japanese import. I don't have the tech skills or equipment to do any of this. Is this something you would do for me? Do you do repairs and upgrades personally ?

Just bought my first bmw it's a 520d e61 ..I do all my own repairs and your posts are brilliant straight to the point....perfect and well done..not really had to use laptop in all my other vehicles so new to this part . You say I will definitely need software ..can you tell me what I need and laptop specs and best place to get what I need...thanks

hey mate, can you tell what cable are you using? i'm difficulty to set it up. im using K+DCAN USB interface (INPA Compatible), i am not sure if im using the right one and secondly even if im using the right one, i can not detect any IP+ on itool radars. thanks.
I own a Japanese import E63 and was able to change frequencies. All went well but what is not functioning is the Japanse navigation system. Any idea how to solve that?

How do you know which module to select in NCS dummy? For example if i need to select CIC there are 20 different options for CIC. How do i chose the correct one?

I have a CCC from 2008, so with buttons and DVD Drive instead of MiniDisk.
Do I need to change a Firmware in CCC ? I've already tried to set a Navigation Type : navi_sv but without a success.

Hi Bmw doctor !, this video is brilliant and inspired me to get ncs expert and have a go and after some messing about i got it to work, i have managed to change the radio to 108mz on my 2010 japanese E90 but i cant find where to change the antenna coding as it only receives the strongest stations and skips al the normal stations and reception isn't great! Any help or do i need to subscribe to you??

I followed all these steps ticked the boxes then lost it at how to install the .man file, i tried again and i think i flashed it back to default standard mode, now in ncs dummy i can tick boxes - it says [E] 14:07:20 An error occurred while reading "C:\NCSEXPER\WORK\FSW_PSW.TRC": Unresolved function keyword "HELL_OFFSET_DEFAULT". Make sure chassis and module match those of the trace file. now im worried. :-(
Mate you have used the wrong profile ???? It should not say he’ll offset default reset the coding and do it again you need to export to fsw man file then just code the car mate code the Cappl and then code the ctune the same way you do not need to edit them via the man file tick them in ncs dummy export and just sg codiern the car on the same module leave the file alone mate
@@BMWDoctor ok i've figured it all out, coded them both, rechecked them and boxes are ticked correctly, however oceania is still showing 76fm to 90fm. im trying to change it to the 85ish to 105fm (all the 90's) . it has not worked. maybe i need to change to europe mode. you can try remotly on my car if you want to have a look.
Oh I had another go -my Ctune never stuck properly. it's all working now :-) thank yo so so much - your a legend

@@BMWDoctor thanks. I've now noticed I have had to reset the time and date 3 times. seems to lose its memory since doing this. I read somewhere I might need to change something in the CHOST as well. how much is the remote diagnostics cost? I've got ride height failure. I've replaced the module in the wheel well - it got wet. i've replaced the compressor, bags and solenoid.
First for a change lol.
Makes a BIG change take it you saw all the countries pop up lol
