Jay was the perfect replacement and his talent is obvious but for me it always was and always will be the OG #1 Joey “MOTHER FUCKING” Jordison !! Without him there is no Slipknot !! R.I.P. Joey….
Both are awesome, and while I prefer Joey, I think Jay was the best pick to replace him. I also appreciate that Jay gives his own flavor to the songs, he isn't trying to be "a second Joey". Also, personally, I think Eeyore is even crazier than P=S, and there is a video of Jay drumming that one too, that'd be a suggestion for you to peek at. Well, being honest, I think most of Jay's channel is worth checking. lol

Jay is undoubtedly a better overall drummer than Joey, however Joey deserves so much credit for practically creating this style of metal drumming
