First of all, from a technical side, there’s never been an archeological discovery to contradict the truth of the Bible. Also, when Jesus was arrested, the 12 disciples scattered in fear. They themselves didn’t think Jesus was God anymore, because He was crucified. These people denied Jesus. But, just 3 days later Jesus rose from the grave, and He appeared to over 500 people in the span of 40 days. MANY of these people were just denying Jesus as God, but once they saw Him risen from the dead, these people WILLINGLY died gruesome deaths for what they claimed to see. There are plenty of studies to prove that people do NOT die for things that they KNOW to be a lie. They saw Jesus risen from the dead. Jesus waits to have a conversation with you. He loves you so much, and if you invite Him into your heart, your life will change ❤️
@@itszve Id have to diagree on the first part. All evidence supports the earth is older than 6000 years, aswell as humans evolved. And the flood myth never happened according to really any field of science. Also we dont have 500 eye witnesses. We have a claim there was 500 eye witnesses, thats a huge difference. Not only this but people DO die for lies or at least die for non-truths thinking they are true. Such as muslim jihadists and anyone who is fully adament of their believes. Even if they are wrong

Also, the bible only claims there were 500 eye witnesses. Thats a huge difference from 500 eye witness testimonys. Also yes, people do sacrifice themselves for their blieves wether they think its false or not. Many religions have had similar things where people lay down their lives for what they think is the truth
I definitely agree that other religions have had people die for things they thought were true. My only distinction is that these people died claiming they saw Jesus risen from the dead personally. You can think of things like cult believers and other people who would definitely die for what they believe in, but those eyewitnesses of Christ didn’t die for what they believe. They died for what they saw. Also, with the Earth being “older than 6000 years.” There is also substantial evidence to support that carbon dating is incredibly inconsistent and unreliable. (Note: I hope you know that I don’t see this conversation as an “argument” but rather that I genuinely enjoy conversing about my beliefs and I love to hear what others believe too)
Also, about creation. Science has proven that the universe had a beginning, that’s a fact. If you believe in the Big Bang, then you’re faced with a strange dilemma. If two atoms collided and created the universe, then what created those atoms? And whatever substance created those atoms, what created that? The only logical conclusion is that there HAS to be a creator. Something that had no beginning and therefore, doesn’t need a cause. Otherwise you end up with an infinite regress of creation after creation after creation, which is illogical
