Ranga uses four-start threads (four concentric spirals) on their premium group buys pens. Depending on which one of the four starting points you happen to use when screwing in the cap, the seam will sometimes be more visible, and one of the four perfectly hidden.
Highly recommended! If you like standard size pens, this and the Abhimanyu are my favorites. I love big pens, so I’m very fond of the Model 5 and the Splendour… enormous pens! Thanks for watching.
I really want a Ranga but I'm waiting for the shipping costs from India to come down. I'm going back to school and love those Calibur notebooks. Fountain pen friendly, but cheap enough to take my messy class notes without care.
Such interesting pens, thanks for sharing all your different models :) Just wondering how the airtightness is on these pens - I have a couple of Indian-made pens from FPR and they unfortunately always seem to dry out between uses giving me hard starts everytime, just wondering how the Ranga pens are on this? Thanks :)
Don't worry about Schmidt nibs. There is no such thing. Some nibs labeled "Schmidt" are made by JoWo, and the rest are ,ade by Bock. None are made by Schmidt.
I like the solid ebonite colors like this one, but the acrylic color selections are STUNNING, so I prefer the acrylics. Thank you so much for watching!
Hello Gentlemen, Have you used Ratnam fountain pens ? If yes, between Ratnam and Ranga fountain pens, which would be better in build and writing experience ?
Oh! Thank you for the correction. I’ll try to keep that in mind, but you’ll have to forgive me if I forget. I’ve been pronouncing it this way for years, and you’re the first person to correct me. 😳
you have a great pen collection, and I appreciate your handwriting, it's easy to read.
Thank you so much! My handwriting is quite unique, but I’m glad to know it’s easy to read. Thank you for watching!

Trust me, they’re worth it. Fountain Pen Revolution and a few other pen retailers carry some models. Thanks for watching!
