- ZGMF-1027M Duel Blitz Gundam:
The Duel Blitz Gundam is a modified GAT-X102 Duel Gundam that has been converted by Terminal to run with a nuclear reactor. The cockpit has also been upgraded to that of a ZAKU Warrior's. In addition to the Duel Gundam's original weapons, it has weaponry reminiscent of the GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam.
The Duel Blitz, along with the ZGMF-103HD Lightning Buster Gundam, and the FFMH-Y101 Eternal, were hidden away in a secret Terminal weapons cache in Boaz for use by ZAFT in emergencies. After a coup d'état forced the PLANT Supreme Council out of the PLANT Colonies, Yzak Joule would recover the Terminal weapons cache, and pilot the Duel Blitz using METEOR Unit-07 to to stop ZAFT Defense Minister Hari Jagannath's insurrectionist fleet. After the Lightning Buster destroys the thrusters on Jagannath's ship, the Duel Blitz would use its lancer darts to destroy the bridge, preventing the ship from crashing into the LHM-BB03S Millennium.
ZGMF-103HD Lightning Buster Gundam:
The Lightning Buster Gundam is a modified GAT-X103 Buster Gundam that has been converted to run with a nuclear reactor. The cockpit has also been upgraded to that of a ZAKU Warrior's. Like the Buster, it's equipped with Missiles, Beam Cannons, Beam Guns and other long-range weapons.
The Lightning Buster, along with the ZGMF-1027M Duel Blitz Gundam, and the FFMH-Y101 Eternal, were hidden away in a secret Terminal weapons cache in Boaz for use by ZAFT in emergencies. After a coup d'état forced the PLANT Supreme Council out of the PLANT Colonies, Yzak Joule would recover the Terminal weapons cache, and Dearka Elsman would pilot the Lightning Buster using METEOR Unit-08 to stop ZAFT Defense Minister Hari Jagannath's insurrection. The Lightning Buster would destroy the thrusters on Jagannath's ship, allowing the Duel Blitz to destroy the ship and prevent it from crashing into the LHM-BB03S Millennium.

Kinda heartwarming that for this instance it's like Nicol fought together with Yzak as his Blitz data was used for Duel's upgrade
It comes to show how affected Yzak was with Nicol's death and cared for him, even if in the OG series, he always thought of Nicol as being too soft as a soldier.

@@GrandAdmiralBatuKhan YZak DID give hints that he was a tsundere; that he cares for his team even if he outwardly shows disdain for them. It became more obvious when Nicol was killed. After that, he and Athrun were VERY affected and acted the most aggressive in their next attack. When Athrun was rescued by ORB and returned to ZAFT, Y'Zak personally went there to make sure he "could see his ugly mug all beaten up", even if a regular soldier would have sufficed. Nearly getting himself killed while saving Dearka and then even going as far as to bring him back to the AA, even after he consideered Dearka a traitor (it was fun to see how he Duel relaunched with the Strike's shield and rifle after bringing back Dearka to the AA)... and so on. There are MANY other points like that.
I'd say he's the respectable tsundere... not the cringy ones infecting many other anime
It's also interesting because Blitz is the German word for lightning so while Nicol's death affected Yzak the most Dearka clearly cared about him as well.

I like how they still kept a lot of the Original Duel and Buster’s features while making it look like an upgrade
they don't just look like upgrades, they are upgrades. they both are nuclear powered now.
And from what I've heard these are the exact same units fought during the 1st war

@@adriancomia6618 Yep same units with some upgrade. They have a nuclear reactor now and they upgraded the cockpit to the Zaku cockpit, which is apparently easier to use.
I like to believe that Yzak was the one who designed this upgrade for his Duel, he wanted the spirit of his teammate to fight with him
It was already built, if you've watch the movie he was shocked that they kept those old machines.

Apparently it was Yuri Amalfi, Nicol's father, who was in charge of the upgrade process, so it was certainly designed with Nicol's spirit in mind, it just wasn't designed by Yzak.
As a sidenote, Yuri Amalfi was the guy who created the Neutron Jammer Canceller, so it makes sense that the Duel Blitz Gundam and Lightning Buster Gundam were upgraded into nuclear-powered mobile suits.
Small detail: 0:40 - Yzak detached from Meteor. Then Meteor launched Duel's beam rifle, but Yzak forgot to catch it. 😂

ニコルの戦術を受け継いでいるイザーク、尊いわ。
ジャガンナートのナスカ級のブリッジにランサーダートをぶち込むシーン、かつてSEEDの最終決戦で連合軍のドゥーリットル(サザーランドの座乗艦、アガメムノン級)にビームライフルに付いてるグレネードをぶち込むシーンをオマージュしてるの好き。
どちらも(サザーランドは血のバレンタインの悲劇を作った元凶)(ジャガンナートはレクイエムの修復をファウデーション王国の報復を行えるキッカケを作り➕イザーク達の説得に応じずやむなく撃沈をされる羽目に)SEEDシリーズの原因を作った元凶をイザークは身内を撃つ辛さと仇をとれても失われたあの日は戻って来ないけどそれでも前へと進んでいいる事を作品で証明している(デスティニーのロゴスの盟主は作中の関係で、レイか別メディアではシンによって葬られている為ノーカウント)

ただでさえ、ニコルの機体の武装を装備しててアツいのに、ラストの攻撃モーションがカッコよすぎるから脳が溶けそう
設定上はデュエルとバスターってSEEDから同じ機体で生き残ってるんだよな。大西洋連邦に返還されて博物館へ展示されてたらしいが・・・・。
それはそれとして、ジャガンナートの説得が失敗した後にミーティアを放棄してランサーダートを撃ちに行ってるのは、ミーティアでの火力攻撃よりジャガンナートだけを狙いに行ったんだろうな。その後ミレニアムの援護をしているのは、SEED最終回でアークエンジェルを護衛してたシーンも意識されてるのかな。
SEEDでも破壊された部分を修復してたし、データ吸い出した後予備パーツを作っててそれを流用したのかなとも思ったけど完全にオリジナルなのか。
ザフト情報部がファウンデーションとプラントタカ派の武装蜂起を察知出来てたから、事前に根回しして方方から使える機体かき集めてきたって感じ？

正直無理やり出した感あるけど20年待ったしこれくらいのファンサはないとな
この2機体は、この2人がいてのこその機体だよね
この2機の登場で同窓会感がよりアップした
性能差といっても動力周りを強化してコクピットと操作系を最新にして、新装備をつけたZZを逆シャアで使うみたいなもんだからミーティアもあるし、イザークとディアッカなら十分戦える感じする
そこまでのモンスターマシンでもない気がするけど？
ZZでそこまで強化したら100年台でも通用するんじゃないかとwww

The Duel Gundam is still one of my all time favourite Gundam designs. Especially the MG version. I might just attempt to kitbash this version of it.
If you mean the HG then all you need to kitbash the Durl Gundam is its old shield. As under the assault shroud the Duel Blitz still looks identical to the Duel. It even still has the same rifle. Only the shield is missing.

The Duel & Buster mobile suit code, which is no longer the GATX series, indicates that the two Gundams have become assets belonging to ZAFT.
It’s still neat they still have “102” and “103” in their new ZAFT codes

骨董品を試験用に改修する意味は何なのか気になる。ましてや核エンジンだし

初期GATだからめちゃくちゃ拡張性の高いのに弄りすぎて壊しても惜しくない便利な存在だからでしょ

短時間とはいえ、バッテリー搭載機でもミーティアを扱えることに驚いた
返還された設定だけど自分達が作ったものとはいえ、敵側に渡り、その性能が証明された後に返されたものを良くは思わない派閥が博物館を襲って消失したと思われた等、廃棄までの何かがありそう
ザフトが初代デュエル、バスター、ブリッツの設計データを残しておいて、大戦後も有事に備えて秘密裏に開発していたと解釈してる。
そう考えると、派閥が原型の機体を強襲しようがデュエルブリッツとライトニングバスターは別のドックで開発がスタートしていて大した問題も関係も無く完成してたのかなーと思ってる。
これ出てきた時めっちゃ＼( 'ω')／ウオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオオアアアアアアアアアアアアアアアアてなった
ブルデュエルもデュエルブリッツももう少し戦闘シーンが見たい！

魔改造されてるとは言え、2人がこの2機を自在に操れるのはまだ分かるが、ミーティアに関してはなんでそんなに手慣れた操縦ができるんだよw

They don’t even have shields or beam shields. And Yzak didn’t grab Duel’s beam rifle that was shot out from the METEOR unit.
So why Duel and Buster weren’t rebuild in time for the last 3 episodes of Destiny.

you know, maybe after the ship bridge get destroyed so many time before. They will learn their lesson and just use multiple remote cameras instead of actually expose themselves to outside.

I love the Duel Blitz and Lightning Buster replaced the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice for protecting the Eternal. Yzak also said in Destiny when he was about to protect the Eternal and now they keeping her safe 😎
I remember that in the dubbed version, Y'zak's reasoning for defending the Eternal was that it was technically a ZAFT ship XD So they weren't going against orders
I dont remember how it was said in the original version, but that did make me laugh that he found a loophole XD
Originally, Eternal is from ZAFT and so is METEOR.
@@bluedestiny2710 to be fair the zaft princess was in that ship, Yzak chose wisely on who should lead zaft, it was either a peace lovin singer or a eugenics nut, and Yzak maybe a military man but he is against the idea of more war to achieve an ideal world, some people just want peace.
Also, the Eternal is Yzak's flagship now based on the information released.

元々実直な奴ではあったけど、反面キレやすい性格してたから、丸くなったなぁと。
Destiyn本編の終盤でキラとアスランが使っていたミーティアだったのですね。調べてみたら8号機まで存在していたと聞き、多すぎると思いました。そんなにたくさんあったのなら、エターナルのあちこちにありったけ搭載しておいたらすごそうだと思いました。
Extra details: These Meteors have been upgraded with internal nuclear reactors so they don't have to rely on nuclear mobile suits to power them.
Duel and Buster have also been upgraded with internal nuclear reactors. So now each Meteor has 2 nuclear reactors for power when Duel and Buster are connected.
In the databooks about Meteor, they said a single nuclear reactor had trouble providing full power to Meteor.
During testing, Kira accidently pushed Meteor too hard and overheated Freedom's nuclear reactor and the whole suit shut down.
So with 2 nuclear reactors, Meteor can now fight an extended battle without worrying about power or overheating. And even a battery powered suit can use Meteor as long as they don't push it too hard.
Ah thanks no wonder the Impulse was installed with it as well. Was wondering how the Meteor can function with batteries
That explains why the Strike Freedom powered down while fighting Orphee, Shura, and the Foundation Armada. Kira was pushing the Strike Freedom passed its limits and overheated the suit.
@@Keitek Usually this would never happen. It's a very rare occurrence that Strike Freedom would be pushed so hard by two powerful suits who were literally hitting it nonstop and really spiking the power consumption of his phase-shift, beam shields, and DRAGOON beam barriers and not giving the engine some breathing room and a chance to fully recharge the suit's energy.
Not just 2 MSes, he was under bombardment from many warships too.
@@zgmf-x19ainfinitejustice28 - Actually what happened to Strike Freedom in the movie is a little different. Director Fukuda said on Twitter and fan events that Strike Freedom didn't run out of power. He said SF was taking so many hits that the phase shift exceeded the "Impact Resistance Limit" of the armor. That every hit causes the phase shift to get hotter and hotter. That the Strike Freedom's coolant couldn't keep up. Essentially the whole suit over heated, redlined, and temporarily shut down. All the gauges you see in Strike Freedom's cockpit are temperature meters, not power level meters. They turn red when it gets too hot.
Director Fukuda wanted to stress that nuclear powered mobile suits are not invincible. That their weakness is that they can overheat or that phase shift can fail with enough hits.
Strike Freedom could have eventually restarted if given enough time to cool off, but the Black Knights were not giving Kira enough time for that.
When the Defender pack docked with Strike Freedom, the Defender shared its own coolant from its own nuclear reactor in the Defender pack to cool down Strike Freedom. Thus SF rebooted.
The true dynamic duo in the series. I wish these 2 get a gundam unicorn upgrade next where their gundams and zakus are combined.
Love that Yzak keeps going for the bridge with an explosive. Its like his signature move now.

He became less headed when he became the director of PLANT Intelligence
not to mention seiyuu age factor, to put it simply he's pretty old now (50ish year) to be able to pull higher pitch

当時、自分はSEED 放送時が小６だったので、初めて子供の頃に見たガンダムがSEED だったので感慨深いです😭
やはり、『ガンダムSEEDFREEDOM』の世界にも、『世界が良くなる事に反する分子的な輩がいる』内容に、アニメも『平和が良い』と思っているのにはおじさんは感動した。

My best guest this two units converted to nuclear type in between GSD to GSF. not unless it was under modification during GSD due to lack of appearance.

全8機のミーティアの中でアニメに登場した1号機、2号機、7号機、8号機いがいだとDESTINY ASTRAYで解体処分の名目でジャンク屋ギルドの預かりになってる核動力搭載型の5号機と6号機が登場しているけど唯一詳細不明なのが3号機4号機。

I have to criticize Yzak and Dearka here, they were in meteors and once their first offer to surrender to the coup de tat forces was ignored they should have just blasted, or to be lenient disabled their ships (blow out engines and maybe their turrets) Yzak particularlly found and blocked Jagannath after he fired at a Kusanagi class and somehow just let him go again, but going after the Millenium was too much and correct of Dearka to finally blow out the engines but what took them so long to do that, and once the ship is disablked Yzak just executes them??? like wtf?? and why did they ditch the meteors to chase after Jag, wouldn't it be faster with the meteors and they were just going to kill him anyway so why minimize the firepower
They are still ZAFT soldiers. Likely many only followed order and didn't know what was going on.
The way Yzak killed Jagannath is a legitimate reason, the first why Jagannath letting Aura and Orphee take control of the Requiem in the first place. Second, Yzak being a Commander of the Intelligence has a right for authority to call all ZAFT Forces to surrender to Chairman Lament but Jagannath always refuses, Yzak had no choice but to kill him in such a legitimate way.

Seeing Yzak piloting a duel is nostalgia. I remember as a kid around 12 back then i have my first HG of duel Gundam. Good times.
ZGMF-1027M 듀얼 블리츠는 GAT-X102 듀얼을 개수한 모델로 그래서 지구연합 넘버링인 GAT-X102를 안쓰고 ZGMF-1027M으로 변경이 된것이다.근데 듀얼의 설정이 프리덤 부터 바뀌었는데 삼척동맹에 일시 합류한 이자크는 이 기체를 연합에게 돌려주지 않고 어딘가에 짱박아놓고 여러 테스트로 사용된 실험용으로 쓰이다가 이후 보아즈에 방치되었던 기체를 핵엔진과 최신 조종석 등의 개수하여 이자크에게 인도하였다.
근데 듀얼 블리츠는 역시나 아머 슈나우드 장갑을 장착되어 있지만 특이하게 블리츠의 글레이프니르 와 랜서 다트가 장착되어 있는데 이것도 블리츠의 무기를 개량하여 사용된듯한 모양이다.
구형임에도 불구하고 여러 개수작업하여 듀얼도 마침내 미티어에 도킹할수 있게 되었다.
듀얼 블리츠의 무장은 기존의 듀얼과 동일하지만 일부 추가된 무장이 있다.

광선검 과 미사일 발사대 어디있는지 불명 아무튼 각 1문
핵 엔진으로 교체했기 때문에 기존의 듀얼처럼 함선에 왔다리 갔다리 할 필요가 없어졌지만 아머 슈나우드도 분리 시키면 기존의 듀얼로 전환이 되지만 장갑은 구형 PS 장갑을 사용하기 떄문에 빔공격에는 방어하는데 한계가 있다.그래서인지 아머 슈나이더도 업그레이드가 되었기 때문에 별 문제는 없다.어차피 조종사는 이자크 쥴인데...
ZGMF-103HD 라이트닝 버스터는 역시나 GAT-X103 버스터를 업그레이드한 모델로 당연히 블리츠 듀얼과 마찬가지로 GAT-X103 넘버링이 ZGMF-103HD로 바뀌었는데 희한하게도 103만 안바뀌고 GAT-X에서 ZGMF-HD로만 바뀐거 말고는 없다.
라이트닝 버스터와 마찬가지로 반쯤 작살난채 아크엔젤에 회수되어 지구연합에 반납은 안하고 자프트에 그대로 회수되어 그대로 고철로 폐기 처분 되려고 하지만 유리 아말피 와 에자리아 쥴이 몰래 슬쩍하여 시험용으로 개수하였다고 한다.
라이트닝 버스터는 유일하게 외형은 기존의 버스터와 유사하며 장비가 몇몇 변경된거 말고는 특이 사항은 없다.
변경된 장비는 이렇다.

12연장 미사일 포드 각각 4문
이렇게 변경이 되었으며 특히 기존의 버스터의 어깨에 있었던 350mm 건 런처 와 94mm 고에너지 집속 화선 라이플이 제거되고 대신 접이식 빔캐논으로 교체되고 건런처 와 화선 라이플은 백팩에 접속된 빔캐논으로 교체되어 화력을 더 증강 시켰다.그 덕분에 건런처 와 화선 라이플을 합체해서 사용했던 대 장갑 산탄포 와 초고 임펄스 장거리 저격 라이플처럼 일일히 교체할 필요가 없어졌고 빔캐논 과 접이식 빔캐논 덕분에 공격 시간이 단축 되었다.
물론 듀얼 블리츠 처럼 미티어에 도킹할수 있다.
라이트닝 버스터 역시 핵엔진으로 교체한 덕분에 빔포 화력 문제는 해결이 되었지만 장갑은 여전히 PS 장갑을 사용하고 있다.
이 두 기체의 공통점은 콕피트 조종계가 전부 자쿠 워리어와 동일하게 변경이 되었다.
헌데 테란의 크루시오 공성 전차는 조종계가 구형 아크라이트 공성 전차와 유사한데 그 이유는 애초에 새로 바꾸면 전차 승무원들의 훈련 기량만 더 늘어나기 때문에 전차 껍데기는 신형이고 조종계는 구형으로 그대로 둔것이다.물론 아예 그대로 둔것은 아니다.
They should have added a tiny bit of Dearka and Archangel crew moment after that cuz he used to serve with them..

もっともイザークやディアッカ程、デュエルとバスターを知り尽くしていて、使いこなせるパイロットはいないだろうな😞

デュエルを見たら
「デュエルの使い方がなっとらん！
俺以外に
デュエルを使いこなせる者など、いるものか！！」
