That was the best running video that I have seen for a very long time - since FullTiltWard's seven hour epic. I came 5th in the SCW45 in 2018 and then DNF'd at Jedward (as I call it) the following year (when it was still Wooler to Melrose). So I definitely felt your pain and I have massive respect for your pushing on despite being in a lot of discomfort from relatively early on. Great effort and exceptional presentation style. Well done!
Hey Ian, just seen the comment, thanks so much for taking the time to write something! I do wiki see how the race would have panned out going wooler > Melrose, as you’d suffer the 3 big peaks first rather than towards the end, perhaps a challenge for another day lol! I’d love to do some running around Scotland, is there any races you’d recommend?
Thanks mate! To be fair I’ve got zero following so I do t think it’s so bad, 10M would be nice but can’t see that happening lol! I’m working on what the next challenge will be I’ll be sure to document it!
Love this journey. I have watched a lot of slick ultra videos for inspiration but this video moves me the most. Not saying you're not slick but that you're coming in as a newbie and it's so relatable. Thank you!
Thanks for tuning in! It’s kind of just a hobby for me, never had any video training etc just TH-cam videos on how to edit lol. I’m really glad you enjoyed it, I’m hoping to get my next challenge launched in the New Years! Stay tuned… like and subscribe and all that lol
Thanks Mark G! Appreciate it, a battle it was lol. Looking back I feel I made a meal of it but given it’s nearly 12 months down the line and I still can’t get past 10km lol 😂🤦🏼♂️
Wow, excellent video, excellent story, training's, ups and downs, self motivation, what an achievement on the end. Best video I have seen lately, true inspiration, well done!!!
This is a masterclass in editing a running video. I'm hoping to do my first ultra - the South Downs Way 50 in April. Your video and your run are an inspiration.
I've done marathon distances and just had 18 months of injuries, but I'm getting back in shape again now and just looking around for my first ultra. This was such a good story to watch and a real motivator. A year ago now, but thank you so much for sharing your journey and bloody well done.
This... was... AWESOME!!! Congratulations on your 1st (but probably not last) ultra!!! Such a fun and well made video. "Heroic but stupid" describes most of the memorable moments of my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. What's next!?
Awesome stuff! I ran a similar distance recently and it was honestly a life changing experience. I'm loving your video and I recognize a lot of the feeling in it
Thank you for sharing this amazing experience. I'm training for my first 50Miler in just a few short weeks. Your vulnerability and drive have inspired me to get out the door again today. Thanks!
Go for it Collin, honestly one of the best experiences of my entire life! Hey plenty of photos as it’s hard to remember so much. What race are you attacking?
@@caniultrarun859 Hey man cheers for the reply. Yes, I am doing the Tarawera 102km here in NZ on 12 February, 2022. Have done the 52km twice now so time to step it up. It is an amazing event with 21km, 52km, 102km and 100 Mile options. It is also a UTMB qualifier. Worth a look on TH-cam as some great vlogs. Your UK Tom Evans won the 102km in 2020 (he ran past us at the end and looked like he was doing interval training...such a machine) and our own legend Ruth Croft won it this year. I am a middle of the pack runner and just love the shared experience with mates. Three of us always do the events and love the experience we share in the training block beforehand and then on race day.
Thanks Bro, you’d be surprised what you’re capable of! I never thought I could do what’s done, but it just kinda becomes normal after time. It’s weird!
Great video, had me laughing out loud at times. Probably the madness as I do my first 54k ultra in the Swiss Alps at the end of June. Not so many mountains around London to train on. Amazing effort and thanks for the inspiration and motivation!
Ah thanks so much, really appreciate the comment! It was pretty tough so its great to have a memory of it. Have you got any challenges lined up yourself?
Awesome video. I’m doing my first ultra on the Jurassic Coast in May. This has really helped me as I keep getting the odd bout of imposter syndrome so glad I’m not alone
Thanks so much Domenico! Greetings from the UK! Do you get much chance to run yourself? I’ve always wanted to visit the Dolomites and go exploring, have you been?
Incredible effort, well done!! Ran my first marathon this year and (in a moment of madness...) signed up for Race to the stones next year - thanks for the inspiration!
@@sophieleach590 I’m no expert by any means, like soooo far from but one thing I wish I’d done differently in the run up was either really trained my upper legs in the gym or even yoga or something for flexibility. I’ve been out of action pretty much ever since with IT band issues which I’m still doing physio on!
Thanks so much! The video seems to have taken off abit the last few days so I’m thinking I might have to get off up bum and get the next challenge moving! Any suggestions for what’s next?
Yea its such a great trail. I really want to go back and walk it over a few days, I think that could be a pretty cool experience. Couldn't agree more with HODL btw as a side note.
Dude that was a super impressive 75km. I really enjoyed the the whole video. So glad you discovered that you need to run some hills in training! That was one of my first BIG mistakes years ago. It is amazing how these events take your brain to new places and they absolutely can be life changing.
I couldn’t agree more, it’s amazing what you can do once you’re in the thick of it… really what choice do you have once you’re half way along! Quitting isn’t an option! What kind of distances do you cover? I think half marathons my sweet spot
@Can I Ultra Run I’m almost 59 so I’ve done lots of races and half’s are definitely the perfect distance for maintaining a good core endurance. These ultras are awesome but they involve such a big training commitment in time and effort. Only recently did I take to the trails and so far 42-50km are my distances. Trail running doesn’t beat a guy up physically as much as road marathons but as you know trails tend to have lots of vertical challenges. I do want to try some longer distances like you did. I’m in a fairly isolated part of Canada so not a lot of options without taking on a fairly big financial commitment too....3 dogs, travel etc. Sorry for the long winded message! Thks for your reply bud!
That’s amazing good to know you’re getting out still doing some serious running! I’ve got a run bike run race on Saturday, haven’t done it before so let’s see how that goes! All the best my friend
@@caniultrarun859 good luck on that. Depending on the distances getting the legs to transition from cycling and running is a good thing to train (like running hills in training for a hilly race). I did lots of triathlons too. They are great for “forced” cross training!
Yea that makes so much sense, I think something I’ve lacked is strength work in my legs. My IT band gives me issues which is annoying but I just have to get on with it really!
Lovely video that. So honest and uplifting. You are right, the completion of a first ultra distance is a life changing confidence booster. Congratulations.
Thanks mate! You’re not wrong, I honestly believe it trains your mind in ways which you couldn’t really do without experiencing it. Dedication, resilience and learning to embrace difficulty. Have you done many races yourself before?
@@caniultrarun859 That’s it yes , that very personal dig within ourselves , ultras are a great place to mine for those . Yes mate I run a couple a year now . I have always been a distance runner but frustrated over positioning and times . Ultra distances suited me better and I think a lot of others actually because realistically I / we don’t necessarily have the perfect anatomy or physiology to easily access speed or perfect technique but on reflection what We do have is the ability to hurt for longer .
@@guzgrant "The ability to hurt for longer" I think that sums it up perfectly! I recall my first Marathon I was almost in shock at how tricky I found it I never thought I could take another step! In reality the mind stops long before the legs do!
@@guzgrant I am really really unsure at the moment, my IT Band is still in abit of a pickle so I really need to sort that first, potentially a long cycle as its easier on the knees, but I dont enjoy it as much.
I just watched this when it came up on my suggestions, what a great vid and definitely made me want to get back to ultras, did five in 2019 and none since....however SCWU looks awesome and is going on the list 👍
You’re very welcome and thank you for watching! It seems TH-cam’s pushed the vid abit the last couple of days which is cool! Do you do much running yourself?
Honestly mate it’s comments like this that are spurring me into the next one. Out of interest what can I do next time to make it better, I’d love some feedback mate
Thanks mate, had quite a lot of comments over the bank holiday weekend, it’s really inspiring me to get my next challenge going! I’m a little unsure of what to do, I’m thinking g some kind of multi day Longer distance point A - B
Love the video, I am training for a similar race next month (44 miles ultra in Cornwall) which will be my first ultra and going through very similar stages! Brilliant video.
Awesome Job mate! I used to holiday down in Cornwall when I was a kid, beautiful part of the world, Hayle? I think it was? I imagine you’ll follow the cliff tops?

Really fantastic! Seldomly i comment on youtube videos, but this was really relatable and therefore more inspirational than alot (all?) of other running videos i've seen. Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback, I was a little nervous about putting it out there as its a pretty honest take on how it went. I could have edited it abit cleaner to avoid the 60-75KM meltdown but what would be the fun in that! Have you done much running yourself?
@@caniultrarun859 I think it was perfect. I started 2 years ago, but got hooked, slowly upping my running. Now doing 50-60km/week. Never ran a race, but just signed up for my first next summer (55km in Iceland).
Great video and great job - pain, honesty, humour - what's not to like :-) As a displaced Geordie I particularly liked the Kielder, Wooler etc views... As your next challenge, check out the Kalahari Augrabies Extreme marathon (tried to link but I think it deletes it) - it's a friendly, small (hot!) race with lots of character... You could definitely do it...
Great video. Congratulations on completing your first ultra. I've ran most of my life, I'm in my 60s now, and still haven't done an ultra yet. I've done two Ironman World Championships in Hawaii (swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles and then run a marathon), and numerous marathons and half marathons but I'm hoping to do an ultra while I'm in my 60s if my legs hold out. Thanks for the inspirational video.
Amazing, TH-cam has some serious reach all across the other side of the globe!! The fact you're in your 60's and smashing ironman / marathons is incredible, if i could do half of this I would be over the moon! Thanks for your kind words, definitely inspiring me to lock a new challenge in!
I would think your Ironmans were much more challeging than an Ultra in this range - I didn my first ultra - a 60 km trail race - last year and whislt it was hard work, I would not compare it to an Ironman. On the other hand I have done an 47 km race in the Austrian Alps with 4,000 metres in elevation gaimed and 3000 metres in descents which took me 12 houra - the higher elevation is quite challenging for people not used to elevation. So distances in themselves can be deceptive and a longer race may be an easier race
Loved very minute of this video. Fantastic story telling. Going through the same journey myself training for a 100k. Just did a 30 this weekend which felt like a 100! Your video is relatable, to what I go through. Very happy I cam across it. And congratulations on your achievement! Will you do another one?
Senior / Senorita oddball, thanks for the comment. Genuinely comments like this make it worth while. I’ve got an ultra up in the North East in July which I think I’m going to document but won’t be as lengthy as this one maybe a 10 min vid or something. How’s your training coming along?
@@caniultrarun859 it’s going well 😀. Volume is up at 60k a week and HR is down to 120 on easy runs. But the 30k was a rude awakening that a race is nothing like training! That event was rather technical with lots of rocky steps and terrain which really drained me. Lots of learnings to be had and in particular lots more hill training required! My 50 has 2400m elevation and the 100k has 3700, so I have my work cut out for me. Great to hear you will do another one, I look forward to the video. You inspired me to try and try a video myself. Another fun aspect of trying a new hobby.
Superb effort that man.! Taken lots of inspiration from this as I have my first Ultra (55Km) coming up in July, Kainuu ultra Finland on the 2nd July. Thanks 🙌😎🇫🇮

Thanks mate, really appreciate the positive words, it wasnt an easy experience in terms of a physical exercise, but from a mental exercise the positives most certainly outweighed the cons. I think it might be time to plan something else! What race would you sign upto?
@@caniultrarun859 no idea yet, maybe something in the Alpes or Vogezen, I first need to wrap my head around a training program instead of just "winging" it. But the distance itself, trying to give it my all and being unsure if I'd be up to it, is very attractive.
Well done, a lovely part of the world and great to see your training leading up to the event. Hope you look back on this for many years and remember what a great achievement it was to complete your first ultra.
Really great little film you've made here! Really appreciate how down to earth, honest and humble you are about your journey. Really inspiring for a beginner runner like me! Thanks a lot
You’re welcome mate, thanks so much for the support. If still very much class myself as a beginner, just some how muddled my way through lol. Are you training for anything in particular?
@@caniultrarun859 it's my pleasure - I think you fill a somewhat vacant space in the running community here on youtube, with your sort of personality and approach to running. Watching your film I didn't feel inferior and like I was watching some sort of super human, but rather someone human like me, who's tracks I could possibly follow in time, which was really nice and inspiring! I definitely know what you mean about feeling like a beginner still. I don't know that I'll ever feel like more than a beginner compared to people who's been running since their youth, when I only started in my mid 30's. That's alright though - it kind of takes the pressure off too, I try to tell myself, lol. I've been going at it for about 2 years now. I was some 30kg over weight about 5 years ago, but managed to lose that weight, and then got into running, and it's been a crooked path to say the least, both physically and mentally. Had a big dip when getting injured and sidelined with a lack of motivation for a few months during the first year of running, but I've managed to stay injury free and consistent now for about a year, knock on wood, and just finished my first marathon, solo, in 3:39, which I'm both monumentally proud of and struck with a deep existential anxiety about, that I'm never going to be able to top it, lol. We'll see where it goes and if the body and mind is willing or not. I've really fallen in love with running to be sure and have been enjoying a mix of running and cycling for the past 6 months or so (I think only running max every other day is what's keeping me injury free now), and really cherish variety just in general. Now, after the marathon training project, I've started training for a sub20min 5k (seeing if I can push my pace up by means of trying to kill myself doing interval sessions two times a week 🥵), while nursing some kind of open ended idea of doing a trail ultra like yourself at some point, by doing most of my easy running as long trail runs. Somewhat similar to the super beautiful mountain landscapes in your film, we have some epic mountain nature here in the mid and northern parts of Sweden where I'd love to explore and run more. Anyway. Apologies for pouring out my life story in the comment section like this - being an introvert who's been doing most of this stuff by myself these past two years, it's nice to share it once in a while with someone who seemingly can relate! What about you, how's training going at the moment and do you have any upcoming adventures ahead? In any case, best wishes for the future - I'd love to see more inspiring films about your struggles and great running accomplishments! 🙌
@@caniultrarun859 hey! Happy to hear from you! Well, the running is going better and better, after some recent set backs. Did my first 50k trail run, a solo thing, this summer which was great fun training for and completing. But I managed to develop plantar faciitis on one of my feet during it, and then when trying to rehab the thing by getting into barefoot running (supposed to strengthen your arch) I managed to develop bursitis in the other freakin foot by upping the barefoot volume too quickly, lol. So it's been a slow come back from that the past few months. On the plus side, being benched from running finally pushed me to dare take up swimming, learning to do proper freestyle technique, as I've been dreaming of doing a triathlon one day. It's damn tricky though, I can still barely do 50m before getting out of breath after a few weeks of training. Buuut it's slow going in general at the moment in any case, as I recently had my first child, and have now become homeless due to my new house that's being built becoming delayed, so have had to relocate to the family cottage deep out in the woods, lol. Oh well, I'm learning to look at things in much bigger time frames, and not get too upset by seeing my hard earned aerobic fitness turn into belly fat. I'll get back into it once things get back to normal - I've become too addicted to endurance training by now to ever stop doing it! What about you? How's life? Any more ultras on the horizon?
Such an awesome video. You are a really great storyteller and capture everything that anyone planning to run their first ultra would experience. Well this was equal parts informative and terrifying. On the 9th of July the TrailOutlaws 45 mile St Cuthberts Way race will be my first Ultra too. But can you believe they've started it at midnight this year! This is the first time I've 'seen' the route. OMG so many hills. I'm based in Chester and mainly road running for my training but this has confirmed the need for more hill training. The production of this is excellent. The tips from Sean Connway also excellent. You absolutely bossed the training too. Millage wise I'm not going to be averaging that much each month. But my basic aim is just to cross the finish line. Would you say that it was 'fully way marked' I'm stressing out about the navigation. Likely to only be able to recce one small section at the end of May. Any other top tips? THANK YOU so much for sharing the journey and this video. Super super helpful.
Hey Sarah, great job signing up it’s an awesome run I loved it. I can’t believe this one is a 12:00 start! That’s a new curve ball thrown in! It is way marked but I downloaded ViewRanger app (I had to pay) but I downloaded the route to my online an it was literally invaluable! You might actually be able to download my route off Strava if you find me and follow that to be fair? I’m not certain tho. I’m gonna put another video out soon about main things I learned on the ultra, but my main advice is: A) train with the weigh you’ll use on the day on your back, I hear the weight in your back X4 onto your knees B) get stretching now, your quads will be sore so the more prepared they are to tighten the better! C) prepare for it to suck, from half way onwards at least!

Superb video - really high production value here and a really clear story. You could have made this into episodes for a series, but I liked it in the mini-film format. Hey Ian, just seen the comment, thanks so much for taking the time to write something! I do wiki see how the race would have panned out going wooler > Melrose, as you’d suffer the 3 big peaks first rather than towards the end, perhaps a challenge for another day lol!

Hey Shaun, you're very welcome, it was abit of a bugger to edit so im glad you liked it lol. Do you have any challenges planned for next year?

I would tend to agree, I’m not a big swimmer so an iron man probably wouldn’t be the best thing lol! Congrats on your ultras mate
Brilliant video,thanks for sharing

How’s your training coming along?
@@caniultrarun859 it’s going well 😀. Volume is up at 60k a week and HR is down to 120 on easy runs. But the 30k was a rude awakening that a race is nothing like training! That event was rather technical with lots of rocky steps and terrain which really drained me. Lots of learnings to be had and in particular lots more hill training required! My 50 has 2400m elevation and the 100k has 3700, so I have my work cut out for me. Great to hear you will do another one, I look forward to the video.

How’s the running going my friend?
Well done 👍 enjoyed your journey. Great scenery and mad distance.

Well done...such an honest account of the many phases you go through! I'm just short of 7 months away from mine - it's a safe way off at the moment but it flies! x
Thanks Rachel, really appreciate the comment. It was pretty brutal but looking back it was worth every second. Which race are you signed up for? I learned quite abit from doing mine and I’m sure I could share some tips! I’m no great runner by any means but deffo could help
@@caniultrarun859 I'm doing the Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge - 100km continuous. Think the elevation is just over 2460m. Hills, hills and more hills! I've started doing two days in a row of "something" now, so like today I'm out for 5hrs around part of the route and yesterday we boxed the horses up and went out for a fast one to ache my legs out a bit before going out for day two. I'm in that stage where I'm trying to eat things on a run and see what works and what doesn't x
Great video and inspiration! I'm doing my first ultra trail in October at 50k, and in fact is my first long run ever ( I ran a half trail marathon 8 years ago). Will see how it goes!
Good job man! Enjoy it! Take it steady and you’ll smash it
Good job mate, some awesome locations. Love a bit of Yorkshire
Thanks Rigby! Wasn’t easy but worth it. Can’t beat Yorkshire, most of it was filmed in Northumberland which I would argue is better, both absolutely class tho.
Great effort mate! Very inspirational! I've done a few trail marathons but I really want to do an ultra!
Ah nice mate, I love getting out on the trails, I live in Newcastle so the majority of my runs are along the river (nice an flat). Which has been yo ur best/most scenic and I’ll check it out for future!
@@caniultrarun859 yeah I agree trails are amazing, I live near a river to so it's super flat. I live on the Essex coast and my favourite trail marathon that I've done is held on Remembrance Day. It's a really special atmosphere and it's held in Brightlingsea where I live. It's a really picturesque route, on an old railway next to the estuary but it's pretty tough as get muddy and it's a loop route. Definitely recommend if your ever down that way!
@@lew0l76 ah that’s class, I’m working on my next challenge I’m thinking some kinds of marathon/city/consecutive weeks thing, so might we’ll head down south.
Sounds great mate, I've just watched your marathon around Kielder video, the scenery up there is stunning! The trails up north look absolutely brilliant!
Dude you are AWESOME 👏🏻
Genuinely appreciate it Terrie!!
Great job! Good humor! Haha Only recommendation would be to tone down the music at some points. Otherwise, excellent work. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching mate! Appreciate the feedback! It’s tricky with the sound, I’m kinda just making it up as I go along so don’t have the technical know how to nail it just yet lol, thanks for tuning in!
This was an awesome insight well done matey. I’ve my first ultra coming up and like you I ain’t no ultra runner. Great to see, put in the work get the results
Thanks Russ! How’s the training going so far? When’s the race/which you doing?
I think it’s going ok time will tell I guess. I’m doing the Devil of the highlands, follows the west highland way from Tyndrum to Fort William. 6500ft of total accent so it’s fairly hilly.
Awesome mate, I’ll check it out. I’ve just got a camper so I’m hoping to get into the west of Scotland and do some exploring / running. I’ll be sure to drop a message see if you’re around! Tip for you, get stretching now, I didn’t enough and the hills caused me big issues with my IT band which I’m sure proper steering / flexibility work would have solved
Brilliant, well done 👍
Thanks mate appreciate the support!
I’m gonna put another video out soon about main things I learned on the ultra, but my main advice is:
A) train with the weigh you’ll use on the day on your back, I hear the weight in your back X4 onto your knees
B) get stretching now, your quads will be sore so the more prepared they are to tighten the better!
C) prepare for it to suck, from half way onwards at least!
@@caniultrarun859 Massive thank you for this. I think I've found you on Strava and will defo checkout the route. ViewRanger sounds like an ideal back-up. HAHA, yeap preparing for it to suck big time. Seeing the hills in the video has defo kicked up hill rep training and I'll get on strengthening & stretching the quads. I'll also look out for your next video! Thanks again for your helpful reply.
It’s honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done, try and enjoy it more than I did during the race lol! Hope the trainings going great
Great video.... and love the start and build up then the complete sunrise run / interview with Sean Conway (great questions)... if you think you're going the right pace... you're going too quickly (tattoo that on your arm)... slow down - enjoy the scenery and like a Land Rover Discovery.. you'll make it to the end.... run too fast and its a long walk off the hills (right that in your diary too)... ps £1.50 if you catch the bus... they don't take Apple Pay
Haha that’s so true, hadn’t thought of always take £1.50 LOL. Do you do much running yourself mate?
@@caniultrarun859 Do I do much running.... yes and almost 4 years ago my friend and I thought can we run everyday.... without a day off.... I'm now on day 1221 - I've had to drop my pace to lower my chances of injury but 2 years ago (Lockdown) I ran 1/2 a marathon in my garden ... and pushed my self and then ran 3 ultras - although I haven't run a ultra in a while although I entered Xterra Trail Marathon Snowdonia - which will probably kill me - and thats why I stumbled upon your video - keep it up!!
Safe to say you do plenty!! Good man! £1.50 😂 great shout
Well done buddy! 😎🤘🏻
Thanks Rad running! Appreciate it!
This is fantastic!
Thanks Michael! Legend for watching!
Well done lad!
Thanks mate really appreciate that!
Awesome to watch mate. Got my first 50k coming up in August so looking for any tips and inspiration - found some here and enjoyed the humour. Cracking effort!
Ah thats awesome, good going signing up?
. Which 50K have you signed up for, I really wanted to do the "Ultra North" around Newcastle, but the date clashes with a wedding im best man at!
@@caniultrarun859 sounds like weddings and ultra clashes are your thing! Mines down south for the south west 50 challenge around Minehead on the coast. It’s part of the ‘action challenge’ series so may some more up north they are putting on
Awesome mate I’ll check it out! If you head up north hit me up and we’ll get a few K in!
@@caniultrarun859 will do mate. Cheers
I did my first ultra on the same day, but a mere 50k. Great video!
Less of the mere!! Good job mate
Something like this WILL change your life, if you let it... Nicely done.
Yea that was a pretty raw moment, it’s funny watching it back I was so vulnerable at that point!! I totally stand by what I said though. And you know what, it DID change my life.
Oh, I get it. I've been exactly there. I relived that feeling as I saw it hit you. Congrats on the achievement and on the changes.
Exactly that mate what’s the next challenge I’m looking for Inspo?
@@caniultrarun859 Well, what distance are you looking to challenge now? I know that you have lots of phenomenal runs in your neck of the woods (perhaps with a little travel). Next on my calendar are the Rocky Raccoon 100 and the Keys 100. With any luck, I can train without injury and actually start (and finish!) both of these races.
Brilliant vlog
Really appreciate that thanks Nick
Great job Sir!
Thanks OMR! How old we talking?
45
Great going! Wouldn’t say that’s old tho haha, plenty of life in the old dog yet!
Superb video - really high production value here and a really clear story. You could have made this into episodes for a series, but I liked it in the mini-film format. I've gone with episodes for my Ultra training vlog, which is helping me as each video is getting to be a better quality than the last. If I can be up to a quality near to this by the end of my series I would be delighted - this is really nice work! Saw the next challenge was a cycling one, so what is next? I definitely hope there are more videos in the pipeline and subscribed to find out 👍
Thanks mate, Yea I guess I could have done, I figured that would be more effort! My main motivation is to have a memory of each event opposed to a regular update if that makes sense. I don't think im interesting enough for anybody to watch it reg lol!
RE The edit, I made a few different videos over the years, this and the C2C were most definitely the best so far from an edit perspective, I just used i Movie and a tonne of youtube tutorials lol. I am pretty proud of how it turned up though.
I'v subbed to your channel, looking forwards to seeing your adventures.
Chris!
Looks like a beautiful race!
Thanks so much!
Great video, well done
Hey James, really appreciate that thank you!
Awesome achievement. Scenery was incredible and you kept your mojo the whole way. Have you got the taste for more?
Absolutely! I've been pretty injured ever since, im just about back running 5-10K, but im hoping from Jan I can start ramping up again to longer distances.
I am toying with either something a little longer, but im leaning more towards some form of back to back running challenge. I cycled the C2C not long back and I would love to run it as well. But i'm not sure thats possible? Given your name @red-faced runner, im thinking you have done some challenges yourself?
What do you think people would be interested in, im very open to suggestions?... within reason lol.
@24:47 I feel brand new lol that's hilarious. I'm gonna lie down like that on Saturday for my race lol
Haha it didn’t last all too long, but my word it was good whilst it lasted!
