Thanks for the time posting this mate. I've been been running for just over a year and I'm about to hit my first half marathon, but the goal has always been ultras/trail runs. Seeing both your posted runs has motivated me to sign up for the quebec mega next year. Just wanted to let you know your effort and authentic style is appreciated. Keep posting more content :)
Thanks mate, really appreciate this feedback, I’ve been abit out the game recently. Makes me want to lace the shoes back up! How’s your training been going?
Road shoes would be fine mate, the majority of the first 25K is flat / paved. Then it gets abit hilly and slight technical uphill. But then the down hill through Chopwell is pretty well worn woodland paths. You’d be sound in either mate, whatever your most comfy in I’d say.

Didn't know about this one, thanks - going to sign up for 2024. But first The Lap 75k!
Awesome mate - smash it!
I signed up for this if it’s the one around Windermere! How did it go? Looks hellosh elevation
You have such a pained expression. Do you take it up the chutney?
When I said comments always help the video out this wasn’t what I had envisaged 😂
Would you say trial shoes are a must or would road shoes be recommended if is dry conditions? Looks like plenty of pavement
Also fair play on the effort put in by the lads! Looking foreword to doing it in a few weeks, although I think the route has changed slightly

Cheers fella, it’s a class route, Ah really what changes have they made?
@@caniultrarun859 More road, less forest this time - but they left in anklebreak alley I think which should be fun tomorrow :)
