I am an absolute beginner however in the past three weeks, I have made 3 cowl patterns and 1 ribbed beanie, all from your tutorials. They are so clear, well edited and shot that learning new stitches seems like a cakewalk. I have surfed through lots of tutorials, I love that your manner of instruction is very clear and simple, and that is what makes me return to your channel every week. I am visiting home after 2 years and decided I wanted to make gifts for everyone.
This tutorial was great thank you. I've been trying to learn how to crochet for awhile now and this is the only project that I've ever started and finished. And it looks good too!
I have wanted to learn the puff stitch when I found this video. I am heading to the yarn shop so I can start making this today! I have never used this particular LB Scarfie yarn before. So excited. Jennifer, you are an excellent instructor and your voice is very pleasant to listen to. I just completed your Sugar Cookie Scarf and love it. It was challenging but not difficult. You have taught me so much! Please keep the video tutorials coming. I love Fiber Flux!
I know what to do for my Mandala Ombre Yarn now! though its a worsted weight, can I still use the 6.5 or should I use the recommended hook? I have 344 yrds
I really love your videos. I have been all over online and finding good descriptive crochet videos can be a pain. You have a nice speed that is easy to keep up with and stop if I need to. Thank you for all the hard work.
Thank you for sharing...I had just bought this yarn in Teal/Silver and was looking for a scarf to do I ran across this pattern. Very beautiful and very easy...couldn't ask for anything more. You did a wonderful job showing and explaining how to do this scarf. Hope everyone at Fiber Flux has a wonderful New Year.
Oh perfect! I was just telling someone on Facebook that I have some scarfie yarn but haven't tried it yet/haven't decided on a pattern. And here is this scarf. I even have it in this color. :)
Thank you! I already have some Scarfie yarn in Forest/Black to make a scarf for my SIL but hadn't settled on a pattern yet. This looks easy and pretty..
Hi Jennifer, thank you so much for this tutorial. You do such nice crochet work. Your scarf turned out beautiful! And your videos are so nice and clear, with great editing!!! I was just watching this video for pleasure, haha. I'm not planning to make scarfs, anytime soon. I just like to see you work, and your voice is always so nice and happy, and confident :-) Your videos are so soothing for me. Thank You, so much for sharing, big thumbs up
Quick and easy as well as a great tutorial. Thank you for speaking clearly and slowly as it makes following much easier. I am using a varigated yarn..one I thought wasn't very pleasing to the eyes but it is making a beautiful scarf. So, the yarn is on sale but not very pretty? Purchase it anyways as you never know, it may surprise you as did mine. Love this pattern!
Hi Jennifer, I recently followed your video and made this scarf as a Christmas present for my daughter in law, I was very pleased with the results. Could you use a bulky weight yarn for this pattern? I have some Loop and Threads (bulky) yarn from Charisma and I'm looking for a project.
I love this pattern. A nice switch with the Scarfie yarn. I was wondering would this pattern work with the Caron Cakes yarn and a 5.5 hook? Thank you..
I crocheted this scarf last Christmas for my daughter in law, it turned out very nice! Could this same pattern be converted into an infinity scarf using the Scarfie yarn or do you recommend another pattern for an infinity?
I'm quite a ways into my scarf and I'm noticing it is forming on a diagonal. I double checked my stitch counts and all is ok. I'm going to keep going seeing that it doesn't look so bad going that way.
Love this scarf; I'm taking the 2020 scarf challenge...just completed the Ingrid Scarf and will not start working on this one. Jennifer, are there other projects needed for groups other than scarves? Thanks Ginny
Hi Jennifer! I love this scarf & the yarn. I wanted to do something like this as a gift for my cousin using the new Caron Cakes. Will that work? Have a great week. Donna
I started this scarf and it was going great until I decided it wasn't long enough. I untied the end where I fastened off so I could add more rows but it would pull out easily. I have to manually unravel each stitch. I don't know what I did wrong. Any ideas? Thanks
I tried this pattern. somehow my rows came a little slanting. i cant figure out why? pls guide me. and one of the long edges has not come straight, instead its curvy. ive watched the video again m again. cant get what am i doing wrong.
I am having the same problem. I have started over twice after almost being done. This is my third time watching to see what I am doing wrong. I have added four chains at the turning point, that looks awful.
Same, same on the slant. I have made two of these and they both slant to the right. I have started a third and instead of just the closing chain on the puff stitch, I chained one after the closing chain. It took the slant right away. The dc are still a little slanted, but it doesn't slant the whole row with the extra chain 1 on the puff stitch.
I love this pattern but I can't get rid of the wavy edges. Is there a solution? Also, mine comes out on a slant. How does that happen or how do I prevent it?
Beautiful! My apologies if I missed it in the video, but could you please tell me the dimensions of the finished scarf? I will definitely be making one, probably in this same colorway. Just beautiful!
Sarah Kincaid Coffman you can always change the hook size, I know you posted this a little whole ago, but just for further reference, unless it's something sized (like a jumper or socks) you can change the sizes little. So in this case the difference between the size J and a size K is only 0.5 of a mm. It would be fine to change. You could also use a larger hook to make it have more drape. :) Miss Bee
Ty for this design....I made a red scarf n now I'm making a blue one too
I will make a yellow and a mixed colour one for my granddaughters - thank you very much, it was an excellent tutorial

Can you do a matching hat video please
Did you know if you doing chain 30 from multiples of 2 plus 4 you can do 15 x 2 or 2 x 13 equals to 26 and then add 4 more which is 30.
Love it😍😍😍supper easy!!! Thankyou so much mam for great toturial
why aren't you using the center-pull ball???

Mine is slanted also. And a stich count at the end of row would help. Love this pattern😊
can you tell me what is name is the name of the yarn thz

The 6.5 hook is the only one I own
Has anyone used a hook size other than K? I only have a J and and L for some reason.... I do NOT want to go out on Christmas Eve to buy one!
