Why so many comments about her touching food or no gloves. She washes her hand several times. It is not a restaurant , must people do not use gloves at home. She works hard to take care of her family. Why the hate, just be nice.

Here is a recipe for you to try in the crockpot 3lb chuck roast 1 cup of water 1 packet of italian seasoning 1 packet of brown gravy mix 1 packet of ranch seasoning Mix the 3 packets with one cup of water and pour over chuck roast. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. I serve with mashed potatoes, stuffing, noodles. It is so good.

Then, for the more adventurous kids &adult taste buds, recipe ideas like fresh cherries(sliced in half or smaller) & mini dark chocolate chips. I ADORE homemade pancakes made with buttermilk, not 2%, no nut milks! Whole milk is acceptable but even better if you add lemon juice because it turns the whole milk into buttermilk! Our homemade buttermilk pancakes are so good I can eat them with only butter, no syrup. I am a T1Diabetic so foods like buttermilk pancakes are very rare around my house so I savor every single bite and crumb.

There was a ground beef recall recently. I am very upset with our Walmarts Beef I too bought a large pkg. And was spoiled but had 5 days fresh days left on it last month. Last week once again I bought a 1 lb. Pkg with a 3day fresh date left on it and it too was spoiled. I'm disabled and cannot afford to lose my protein source or any groceries. Their hamburger is so bloody I guess I have to find a way to get into our other groceries, they do have 1 scooter and I used to only buy meat from them. I had 1 recall in the last 25+years and no spoiled meat have had this problem with them before. I like to buy meat from my son when he butchers one of his animals. I meant to tell you how I cut sandwiches, we as parents had to supply our ball teams with things for our game. I made hundreds of sandwiches, cookies, brownies, nachos, pies, cake etc. I use large pizza cutter, down the rows it also cuts up bars, and anything neading to be cut!

You don't have to defrost the ground beef if you are going to cook it down anyway, just put it in the pot on medium and separate as it cooks.

The only problem with that is that the meat comes out tough unless you start off with a very low heat

You should do baked sloppy joe cups it basically made in muffin tins your kids will probably like it 🙂
If you put frozen meat in the slow cooker, it should cook, but may take more time (I think?).
As a pro chef, it also means extra water. Adjust accordingly and do drain the ground beef. I don't use frozen meat.

The day you get it home or after brown the beef and then freeze it that way its ready for use and can be seasoned anyway.
