When I watched this movie in theaters, A young boy started crying a lot when the older brother died and his parents took him out of the theater. They came back like 15 mins later and watched the rest of the movie. After the movie the boy was still sad and teary eyed. I overheard the boys dad talking to someone. They went to watch the movie because the older brother had died recently and they were all planning on watching the movie together So they went to watch the movie anyway to try and cheer the boy up. Just tragic.
Since I'm half Japanese I wanted to name my son that no one really has and so I named my son after the movie the brother tadashi I fell in love with the name

I love this movie so much. How Hiro deals with the grief of losing his brother Tadashi is so real. I can relate to his emotional anguish so well, having lost my paternal grandparents, whom I loved dearly. I lost my grandfather when I was in the 8th grade and my grandmother more recently.
I remember big hero 6 as a kid man watched it in theaters when it came out and tadashis death still hits hard but this movie man is super magical and to see Hiro and the team get at it was super wholesome! bay max was epic! a classic movie!

Big Hero 6 was created by the same people as Ben 10 but for Marvel. This film however completely redesigns the characters and lore with little to no connection to most of Marvel characters. Comic Fred could actually summon a Godzilla-like apparition.
I watched Big Hero 6 in the movie theater with my parents and brother, and when they went into the portal, I genuinely got sad, because I didn't know if they were going to make it, I didn't know if Baymax was going to survive. I wanted to see if this movie still held up to its standards when it came out

Me: Studio C: "Disney Plans Hero's Death", they gave an extensive list of how many Disney characters have lost a parent; lasted a full 25ish seconds, and that was 10 years ago. In their words: "The Mouse createth, and the Mouse destroyeth." Big Hero 6 came out about a month after this comedy sketch came out.
You know they also made a cartoon series based around the aftermath of this film. It's really good, and personally I very much enjoyed it. However if you do decide to check it out, I would recommend skipping the third season

I don’t care what anyone says if _Big Hero 6_ stole _How to Train Your Dragon 2’s_ Thunder at the Oscars or the "That was his Mistake" quote has been overdone and memed to death thanks to Schaffrilas, I still appreciate the film nonetheless. On top of that it’s currently the most recent and so-far final Disney Animated film to be based on an adapted work since following _Big Hero 6_ a lot of Disney Animation’s animated films have either been original stories (e.g. Zootopia, Moana, Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto, Strange World, Wish) or sequels (e.g. Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen II, Moana 2, Zootopia 2) and I do kind of miss when Walt Disney Animation Studios used to do animated films based on books (specifically Fairy Tales) or adapted works. There is also a Television series set after the movie that I recommend you guys should check out whenever you have the chance.
