It's incredible how well this movie still holds up. From the music to the cgi of the cybertronians themselves. All the moving parts when they transform is amazing. And the music in this added a mystical sense to the movie. Not to mention the sound effects too.
1:14:42 The machines on Earth that were brought to life by the Allspark became evil because they say in the movie that all modern technology was made from reverse engineering the machinery that made up Megatron's body. So it's like all Earth tech has a little bit of Megatron in it, which is why they're automatically evil after being brought to life.
I’ve been a Transformer fan since 2007. I so loved getting into the wider franchise beyond the Bay movies thanks to the 2007 film. Transformers Animated, Beast Wars and Machines, IDW, Earthspark, War+Fall of Cybertron. It’s such a great franchise.

It doesn't matter how many times I've seen the movie, the scene with Optimus and the other Autobots arriving on Earth will always give me the good kind of chills. Little backstory: Since I was born in 1991, I didn't get to grow up with Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus. In 2001, my first exposure to the Transformers universe was through the series Robots In Disguise, with a voice actor named Neil Kaplan providing Optimus' voice. Then from there it went to the Unicron trilogy with Gary Chaulk as the voice of Optimus. I didn't get to fully bask in the glory of the Autobot Supreme Commander until this movie came out in 2007. I have a profound appreciation for what Peter Cullen has brought to the table in the world of the Transformers. Between the live action movies (4 and 5 are horrible), and the Transformers Prime series. He is forever my favorite voice actor for Optimus Prime. I just hope I get to meet him one day before he inevitably passes.

I remember that in the cartoons the smaller Transformers were called Mini Cons and if i'm remembering correctly they could also combine with the Autobots and Decepticons to provide upgrades
I was 8 when this movie came out, and if you had told me the Transformers were real at that time with the CGI the way it is, I would have probably believed you. If you told me this movie released this year, I probably yet again would have believed you. Also, I forgot Anthony Anderson is in this movie. Love that man.
Before you check out transformers revenge of fallen you should check out the Friday the 13th remake from 2009 which is Canon to the Michael Bay universe. Also the bumblebee and transformers rise of the beast films take place in an alternate universe separate from the Bay verse.

Technically in the game a bad ending of where he gets the cube does happen and when inserted into his spark, he actually becomes powerful but it’s supposed to be a 50/50 where he could die from raw power, so that’s why optimus said no to Sam when Sam put the cube in megatrons chest, it wasn’t explained well

Jets need more energy to fly but trucks and cars don't. That's why prime is a truck and Megatron is a jet. Because Megatron always try to find energon or a some kind of energy source. He find and use. That's why his energy limit is strong. And prime can't be a jet because he always in his limit. So he can't transform is to a jet like megaron. In this film megaron badly wounded. His energon leaked. You can see blue staff coming outside of his body. Now his energy level like 8 because he loose energon. In the next film Megatron become a tank(that tank can fly). Because he don't have much energon to transform into a jet🍿🍿
In 3rd movie even worse. In 2nd movie Megatron getting beaten by prime. He wounded again. In 3rd movie he transform into a truck like prime. Because he's took weak in 3rd movie.

That’s not in this continuity. Scorponok is just a Decepticon with a scorpion alt mode. You’re referring to Beast Wars.
