PORSCHE GT3 RS - A COMPARISON OF

THE LATEST GENERATION OF THE PORSCHE GT3 RS IS AMAZING.
YOU HAVE PROBABLY SEEN A ZILLION VIDEOS OF IT ON TH-cam AND ALL OVER THE INTERNET.
WHEN I NOTICED THAT TWO DIE-CAST MANUFACTURERS, NOREV AND MINICHAMPS, WERE MAKING THESE MODELS I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE A MORE IN DEPTH REVIEW OF WHAT I SAW IN EACH.
I FEATURE TWO 1:18 SCALE PORSCHE GT3 RS MODELS, ONE MADE BY MINICHAMPS AND THE OTHER BY NOREV. THE MINICHAMPS IS SILVER AND THE NOREV IS ICE GREY. THE MINICHAMPS DOES NOT HAVE OPENING DOORS OR HOOD, WHILE THE NOREV HAS BOTH OPENING DOORS AND HOOD.
I HOPE YOU CAN HEAR AND SEE THE DIFFERENT WAYS THAT THESE TWO MANUFACTURERS MADE THESE MODELS.

Great video! Got the same Norev variant today, interesting how it compares to the Minichamps. Honestly i’ve been blown away by the detail the Norev model has, I feel like it’s an Autoart from their good old diecast days.
Although, the Minichamps looks great too. You can’t go wrong with either of these models.
Side note: A QC issue that the Norev variant may have is a crooked spoiler, it is advisable to have that inspected before you actually buy the Norev :)

I went with Norev. The lights are transparent, not painted. The interior is also superior compare to Minichamps.

Good choice. Competition between die-cast manufacturers is good, hopefully keeps the price more competitive. And each one seems to have certain characteristics I would like. The interior is a whole new level of detail I haven't seen in other models of this price point for sure. Enjoy.

Debated on both of these bir Norev was an easy win after seeing it in person. The wheel/tire + stance overall was much better on the Norev. Thr Norev feels like an autoart from 10 years ago

At least in Europe the Norev is half the price of the equivalent Minichamp. Tons of colours and rim combination of both. I would take Norev although none is perfect.

Yes, Norev is much cheaper and overall better detail and quality and that it opens doors and hood as well is a real bonus I like. I do see way more options in both Minichamps and Norev now, you are right. There are many limited edition runs even for specific companies. You are right, none are perfect, but much better than I could form or make myself.

Minichamps is stil diecast, but sealed. I went with norev, much better price/quality and also the opening hood, doors and interior detail. A tire swap on the norev does wonders.
