- Hey y’all!
My name is Shamonn. We recently moved to almost 12 acres of raw land that we are turning into a farm. My husband, 2 children and I grow all of our veggies, raise chickens, bunnies, and a mini pig. I’m all about real life examples, real food, and everything you can do to become self sustainable. You can watch and subscribe to my Weekly vlogs. But the best way to help me, is to share my vlog and site with others. My hope is to inspire the love for a similar lifestyle or hobbies in others by sharing my real-life tips and tools to make gardening, homesteading and this farm life easy, understandable and enjoyable. So, are y’all ready to do this with me?!
This vlog comes from my experiences. I wanted to start this blog for people of color, not to exclude anyone else. But this is my way to represent US. I want to show you that there are many different ways to grow, harvest, and preserve what we grow with our own hands. ANYONE can homestead!
As a visitor here, you are part of this fantastic community. I want to see what inspires you so that I can be inspired. In this growing community, we should be able to learn from one another. Your continued support, information and comments give me the inspiration I need to grow into a self-sustainable and permaculture lifestyle I’ve been craving for a long time.
Thank you so much for being part of this community!

Lavender and rose petals huh. That's super creative!
The best smell in there. The strong scent subsides after a day or 2 and then its just fresh smelling in there.
