I don't get how I missed this review, literally thought it was just released. Either way awesome as always. For me NECA has been something I've always collected, their figures make up the majority of my collection, but their Turtles stuff never interested me, in fact it's the inverse of your situation as their sci-fi/horror lines are what mainly interest me. TMNT was just not a part of my childhood, I grew up in the early 2000's and there were plenty of other things I grew up watching including reruns of older cartoons, but the closest I came to Turtles was seeing the TMNT film, which I could barely remember even after seeing it. Since then I've gained appreciation for older cartoons I didn't grow up with and I won't deny NECA have been killing it with these figures. I've seen this figure, Chromedome and Kang's android body in my local comic shop for a while now and they all look great. Honestly I'm glad I skip this line and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures in general, simply for the sake of space and budget. Hypothetically if I were to ever get anything it would probably be the NECA 1990 figures, their aesthetic just appeals to me more.
I just fell in love with this line thanks to recently getting the Turtles In Disguise set. Same day I got them I actually saw Mondo Gecko, too. I'm hoping he's there when I go back, cause DAMN, I'm hooked on this line, now. Awesome review, as always, man!
Thanks for the review and the enthusiasm for the figure. It tempts me to hunt down this figure, but I'm done collecting this line because of my budget. They are great looking figures.
I just got my Super 7 Mondo yesterday. I extremely happy with him. The amount of alt hands he has make him very fun to pose and play with. I'm still considering the Neca though.
10:29 It's a simpler spin on the toys logo. Instead of the skateboard and bone, this is a skateboard and lightning bolt. With the blaster, it's a Foot gun that came with the Casey pack and April pack soldiers...but it's defaulted to only Mondo now.
But foot soldiers never used that blaster in the cartoon, unlike Mondo Gecko. Though it's kinda belongs to the Technodrome's gang, but I suppose the mobsters just re-sell this alien technology to the other crime-comunities that weren't in the influence of Shredder. So that was kinda weird when I get them with the Foot soldiers.
Kerma was from the planet of the Turtloids. A world ruled by short intelligent peace loving turtles. If I remember correctly, throughout his episodes he formed a a particularly close friendship with Donatello as they were both scientists, plus Donny was enthralled with the Turtloid planet and it's civilization. The turtloids were not fighters and would employ the Ninja Turtles whenever they were in trouble. Kerma's figure not having much in the way of articulation is expected because as previously stated, he wasn't exactly an action hero, though he did start learning some basic martial arts from the turtles later on...
The 91 on the bomb represents the year Mondo Gecko made his first appearance the 5 is the season his first appearance was in (episode 2) and the 7 is the last season he helped them out in an episode called Dirk Savage Mutant Hunter.
I Love gecko but i much prefer the 2012 TMNT gecko design. I wish someone would make 6 inch action figures from that specific version of the Turtles but yea, this guy looks like a great figure.
Its actual playmates release wasn't that bad, just not as colored as they first showed it at SDCC, but you can paint it if you or anyone you know is into customizing since it's almost a blank canvas as is. (All blue shoes, all black clothes). I'll do say it was really hard to hunt down since it was limited to 2 per store, same as human Karai and blue robed Usagi Yojimbo.
I’m right there with you with neca. I never was a neca fan til they started killing it with this turtle line
I wanted to be a fan but they just didn’t really do thing I wanted to spend money on but now they have tmnt and gargoyles, it’s a wrap homie
If they can just improve the distribution on the Gargoyles line. Goliath was July now September. I hope their was a good reason for the delay.
If only neca would gargoyle deez
Another great review! Thanks for using our dio and backdrop in the thumbnail and pics, Wade!
This line brings a lot of color to a display! Ya, killing it!!

Love your purple backdrop!!
Mondo look blazed as hell. Lol which is appropriate. I feel like most of the turtles would smoke if that was allowed. Definitely Mikey and Don
I haven’t got into this line cause I can never find them but neca is definitely killing it with this line.
I’ve only managed to find muck man and the 2 pack of Rasputin and Ghengis
It's nice to see a cartoon accurate Mondo Gecko and Michelangelo together as toys.
Thanks for the review and the enthusiasm for the figure. It tempts me to hunt down this figure, but I'm done collecting this line because of my budget. They are great looking figures.
It kind of reminds me of the teenage son from the dinosaur Series 🤔 I dig it!
For sure!
I just got my Super 7 Mondo yesterday.

I was happy to find my Mondo Gecko out in the wild. Same for Muckman!

Your right bro now I think about it ,I have a handful of Neca figures going to the grave with me .overall best bang for your buck
Great review

Rad video man.🤙
Can you do a video comparing all the Neca turtles, ( Wave 1, Wave 2, Turtles in time, Turtles in disguise) and the Sh Figuarts Turtles all in one?
When you order them ready to ship and find them the next week at target and still no shipping news😩
Does Mondo come with a skateboard? I don't mean on his shirt.
Nevermind, you answered my question. I'm happy to know that the answer is "yes".
Thanks for the review.
Cool figure
Just pick this guy up yesterday.
Nice bro. Hopefully well see a muckman review too. I get why you’d pass in reviewing them months after they dropped
That little turtle dude aka kerma.. looks like half of my stoner friends lol awesome review as usual....🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪 back stabber 4life... yup yup...

I just got Muck Man and he is $35 now. Looks like they are raising prices across the board. I passed on Gecko, I dont like him enough to pay $40
I can't unsee it. Poochie Gecko lmao
Dope review and I'm gonna have to disagree with raph being the best turtle 🐢. Team Michaelangelo 🐢
What the hell is happening with Geko nails ?! Shocking
Mondo looks high AF
