The scroll that Splinter comes with actually has a few words on it. They are: Cur-Lee, Shemp and Nyuc Nyuc. These words are obviously a reference to The Three Stooges. "Cur-Lee" also refers to the 1987 TMNT episode "Blast From The Past" in which Splinter performs the Cur-Lee Maneuver on Shredder.
Poor Baxter never returned back to human form... 😢
My local target here in MN had 3 of these 2 packs. Snagged one and left 2 in the wild for other collectors. Great content thanks for letting me watch someone else open theirs.

The little pistol is a retro mutagen gun in other words it turns you back into what you was in the first place. So when Mikey gets mutated Splinter uses it to turn him back.
Well, you're right at least at a half of your statement. It's a retromutagen gun from the final episode of the first season ( it was created to transform Splinter into his human form). And Michelangelo gets transformed into a gerbil by a muta-zoo ray (Baxter's gun with a disc), and in the end of the episode "Bye, bye fly" Donatello uses it to return Mikey in his real appearance.

I needed splinter next to a Super7 TMNT...
Man I want this set. I have had no luck finding this line with the exception of the Rockstar & Bebop 2 pack. I have the Turtles, Shredder and Krang from the SDCC set a few years ago. I at least gotta have Master Splinter on the shelf. I hope NECA makes these available by some other means in the future. But oh well...thanks for the review brother.
Bro excellent review as always! Stellar set, wish I could get in on these once and a while. I mean for a few reasons I don't have many neca turtles, I don't drive and the one target around is not close. Also a third having to be picky because of all the other lines I collect. I have my Donnie and Krang 2 pack which was a must have and paid extra on amazon but just won't do that a lot ya know. I have such a melting pot of smaller scale Turtles figs from all around but just not deep within those lines. I hope they do the Casey jones in 1/4 scale though, I have and love all the turtles and Shredder, still need a foot soldier too. Those do take up a lot of space but man they are gorgeous.

I found 6 android bodies in 1 Target today. It was cool because 2 had obvious paint issues so I got to pick the best one. Still haven’t seen Splinter/Baxter in CO yet

I have been waiting for splinter since I got the first wave by NECA. I’m so glad to have gotten my hands on this set. This really helps complete the Turtles display for me.

Had to look it up but the plant is the Doku plant from the episode The Fly. So Neca delivering some obscure accessories themed for the two pack.

Maybe it's just me but is the scroll meant to actually say something? Maybe? It says CUR-LEE on the left and some of the other characters look like letters. Maybe an Easter egg by neca? Or I'm going crazy. Either way.

Yeah they are a little stuff too. Definitely warm them up a bit before moving them to much.
