Belief is a very personal thing. Challenging beliefs can lead to war amongst nations or a war within one's self. Having to reconsider what we believe about our spirituality or lack thereof, can be a very disquieting exercise but often a fruitful one as it leads to growth. But what obligation does the believer have to convince the non-believer of their story? Does it matter if the believer doesn't care what you think? In a way, our egos and skepticism protect us from feeling the discomfort when considering the impossible, because if the impossible is possible and we're not in control of our world, then who, or what is? If an experience like what you might find at the Sallie House can change your beliefs and thus change who you are as a person, how would you handle it? If one day you're challenged to stand up for your beliefs, what will you do then?

I found you guys because of The Tape Library. I was falling asleep listening to the Sallie house video and was woken up by the recording. I mentioned it in a comment there, but I was so genuinely unsettled by it. I can only describe it as smelling gas in the house; a very poinient visceral feeling of something being wrong. Who knows what that means, but it scared me.
Same exact thing happened to me. Kind of ahidden gem of a podcast if I’m honest. Glad i woke up.

U have to take into account there r many cases that started off appearing as a harmless child spirit until its invited to stay...then the true nature comes out...
Yes. Reminds me of “disguised as an angel of light”. That’s describing Satan; the fallen angel.

I also found this through the tape library. I’ve listened to the evp. At first it made me feel heavy in my chest and almost nauseous. But I heard almost a3 note hum??? After the first bout of screaming. Then the rest almost sounded like…. Like what I am thinking pure torment would sound like. I don’t hear rage all on its own. But something else as well. It does stir something, but I don’t know what the feeling is called. It’s so very weird and disturbing, but I do find that I want to listen again. My brain wants to hear the words or the voice. Tell me I’m not the only one that gets this take on it.
That's what you call ghost scream therapy.
Must be so frustrated with being ephemeral.
To me, it sounds like an angry old man placing his order through a faulty drive-through microphone. It actually made me laugh the first time I heard it.
Yeah it's a whole different vibe when you're sitting there in the house, not expecting really anything at all to happen and hearing that on a recorder that you thought was gonna play pretty much nothing but silence. Still your depiction of it IS funny. I'd much rather have heard it in that context. - Scott

Now they have to come to terms with the reality that all that they chose to be true about life and existence is not only untrue but not safe.

I have been wondering through this if the pressure in your chest, feelings you pick up on... you sound like you're sensitive to me. Your instinct/intuition knew something was trying to communicate with YOU specifically. This is an easy theory to test out: next location both of you take identical equipment & see if you get more evidence or communication. If you do, it confirms what I'm thinking. You're spot on that this evp is personal, invasive & it's projecting its energy directly at you screaming in rage...and torment... but the anger isn't truly yours. It's conveying to you how it feels. The sound IS its feeling & energy. I get it. 100%. I've been there with people and entities. It is personal because it chose you to communicate to. You inadvertently became involved because it wanted to tell you & no one else. Edited to add: It sounds like your son is sensitive & has intuitive abilities as well. Thank you for honoring your bond & not forcing him to ignore his inner warning signals! I wish more parents would be like you. I got the word "Transient" about people describing the heaviness or oppressive energy not always being in the house.

I want to ask you, if it's possible to tell us ,is this recording for real,or is it made up. I am asking because i heard it last night and I experienced some strange things. First of all i had the constant feeling that something was rapidly passing in front of my face and abovey head. Secondly, was sure that before I tried to sleep, i left my room light on. Five minutes later i woke up and then light was off.. I know that it is probably psychological but this recording deeply unsettled me.
It is 100% real. It was recorded in an empty room on the 2nd floor of a house with no one else present on that floor. The recorder was examined by a forensic audiologist who could not reproduce the sounds in his lab. (Ed Primeau) It was analyzed by HAM Radio Experts who could not identify it as interference and was recorded in a very small town with no known potential sources of radio interference, which would be unlikely since the recorder does not have any kind of antenna. So it's a real recording yes. What it is? We don't know.
@@Astonishinglegends Thank you for your answer. I should say I am not really into these paranormal stuff and this was the first time I experienced something like that.
Another case where there was a voice inside somebody's head was the Analise Michel(sp?) possession case.
