When I was playing Roblox back in 2017 and 2018 I heard about these games and I thought these were just fake. I’ve always looked for them but I couldn’t find them so I just gave up and like sell. These are just fake one day I found a friend and then turns out she played these games I didn’t know until I joined her. I found this out and yeah, it was kind of really bad. I mean it kinda get banned every day or so but they always show up until you keep track of them if you lose track, you can’t find them again ever since they’ve added public UGC and avatars and hats and everything it just gotten worse. I’ve seen like very inappropriate avatars I’ve seen predator avatars. It was a really bad idea but there’s also some good sides of this as well they were able to make like different attachments for hats that we can change colors or the style of anything but sometimes it’s just bad you got fake copies you got you know inappropriate outfits I really wish one day Roblox can keep up and fix all of this
Not to be a devil's advocate here, but I think the main issue lays in the nsfw content being spread over everywhere at this point, and trying to take care of the root of it won't necessarily fix the issue right away, if not directly worsening the impact. Think of it like this: would you want for a specific group that you don't want to go mainstream to be concetrated mostly at one specific spot, on which they'll do their thing with less impact on the majority of the platform overall, or would you destroy that spot, spilling EVERYTHING onto the platform, possibly risking to make the epidemic worse cause the condo erpers are going to try their luck basically anywhere where there is a slither of possibility for such a thing and making all the stuff so mainstream you're actually going to see the erpers everywhere? The point I'm tryna bring out is that there is no stop to the nsfw content anyhow, the gateways were already opened long time ago and there is just no way closing them. Imo, in this situation, the best thing to do is to try to isolate the inappropriate behaviour to it's boundaries - the condos, and take care of the strays that blatantly go into other games and display too much of a inappropriate behaviour there. After this, there will sadly be another impossible roadblock to achieving at least somewhat of a great compromise - and it is the overall moderation of condos within themselves. As the video said, condos are usually made with money in mind. And when it comes to money, no one bats an eye on anything horrible as long as it gives profits, and that's really what is causing all the trouble to keep all the stuff regulated at least in that regard. Right now I bet condos have a seperate predator issue of their own cause of this flaw, and the easiness to find and access them is amplifying the situation to a really bad degree. As a bonus, Imma say my opinion about the accessories. I'm somewhat fine with chokers and collars as long as they're added for the flair, same goes with chests and other stuff. Those accessories, if they're made within reasonable boundaries and used for stylistic purposes, can actually allow you to make beautiful and pretty cool avatars (Speaking from the little expierence I've got on avatar making). But some blatant stuff like bypassed clothes, or accessories that have crossed the line (Oversized chests, nsfw content references, and anything else what can be blatant), those types are obviously meh and obviously shouldn't be on an all-ages platform. Overall, it's awesome you're one of the people who spread the awareness on the problem of spreading of all this stuff to where it's not supposed to be and try your best to make the platform safe for everyone to enjoy, but make sure not to get the wrong targets and hit the wrong spots which will not result in anything useful. I hope one day y'all folks will stop the epidemic and maybe even "restore the balance" between two sides, if you know what I mean.
