The origin of the Nessie easter egg is from the release of Titanfall 1. Respawn released two blurry images of concept art, and it looked like Nessie was in one of them. So players started to speculate a Loch Ness type creature in the game
Andrew Martin Its the Leviathans. The huge long legged dinosaurs.
And now there's an actual Nessie in Apex Legends. If you shoot all the Nessie plushies in the map in a certain order it will rise out of the water next to the swamps.
theres like 3 nessie plushes on a Titanfall 2 on a mission and if you jump on like sewers, theres a nessie funeral and one slowly turns around and notices you and teleports you back, in Apex Legends theres 8 or 9 i think and if you shoot all of them, a giant nessie pops out of the water.

@@JAGomez in the mission where you encounter kane there are multiple nessies hidden around the map and when you shoot then all then when you get to the giant mud pit if you jump into it it will instead teleport you a room of nessies and in that room the nessies and worshipping this roboyic nessy and this same nessy appears in apex as a charm. and in apex there were 8 nessies and you had to shoot them in a certain order and when you did if you went to the swamp a giant nessy would emerge off the map the size of the leviathans
There's also a random eject message that is "Protocol 3 protect the pilot"
I wont spoil the ending but it's a nice reference.
SPOILER WARNING FOR CAMPAIGN PLEASE PLAY IT:
I know! i’ve gotten it mostly on monarch which conveniently is the same model titan as BT. For those who haven’t played or watched when bt is going to stop a massive weapon, you say “i won’t leave you BT” or something like that. but to destroy it BT has to implode himself. whilst flying up to destroy it BT says Protocol 3 Protect the Pilot and launches you out. It gave me a low morale for the rest of the game because of poor BT

Completes several hour campaign about finding the ark and trying to stop the IMC from using it, spends entire chapter at this exact location, learning about its lore and sitting through forced dialogue about it.

@I can't find a good name Well if were going by technicality, the fold weapon isn't shown on the Complex map, that was just the smaller prototype created as a copy of the full version which was discovered (not created) with the ark as its powersource.
But my point is the same, he doesn't know the names of the objects or locations in the game despite theoretically having extensive experience.
Besides the Ark is the important piece of technology not the spin up rings.
You can also tell form the starting clip where he barely lifts off the ground in multiplayer

Cooper will occasionally do the OK hand sign when switching times in the mission effect and cause. Its a 1/2000 chance, so it's unlikely, but it is a thing.
If you waitch one of Bryonato's speedruns, im not sure which one it was, but cooper did it in one of them.

At the complex easter egg, the sand bags you jumped over you can find a militia pilot from tf1. And at the start of the Tf2 mission into the abyss you can find another grunt in a small cave

I don't know if it could count as an easter egg, but the mission where you needed to retrieve the arc tool, one of the grunts said that they already lost a pilot down there. So when you follow the mission you can actually find him dead with a wingman.
For number 2 I once got "See you on the other side"
There's two I've found:
1/ "Dr Paprika" (on blue cans, in the first levels of the campaign), which is a reference to the "Dr Pepper" soft drink.
2/ "P.O.T.T., by Roberta Sparrow" (in the lab/level where you first use the device to time travel). It's a reference to the fictitious book, "The Philosophy of Time Travel", from the film "Donnie Darko".
On the campaign level Bt is grabbed by the claw their is an original spectre who fought till death easter egg when you run from the exploding training place

A cool detail from Titanfall 1:
In the Campaign Mission "The Three Towers", The match will start with two AI-controlled titans on each team. These AI-Titans are controlled by Davis and Droz on the Militia, and by Gates and a generic Pilot on the IMC.
I have a wired obsession where before I buy a game I have to gain as much info about the game then I buy it so this video helped me thanks
Complex is basically a reference to the Cause and Effect chapter. The arc still works, so you are playing in the past.
1. The lochness monster plushies are called nessie
2. A teaser image got leaked early for titanfall 1 and everyone thought it was lochness monsters

The reference for Richter goes a bit deeper it’s actually the name of a villain from one of Arnold’s movies and when you kill him you get an achievement called “See you at the party” which is the one liner Arnold says as he kills him

When I was level 11 or something I got the eject message "see ya space cowboy" and it's still by far my favorite
There’s also another EPG in the start of the campaign in Blood And Rust. When you get to the Inlet 13 area of the mission, climb up to the catwalk at the top. There should be an EPG laying on the railing.
One thing that made me nearly tear up in the secret messages up was: “Protocol 3”

First off, the EPG is great to unlock a high record in the gauntlet campaign, also use the EVA8-AUTO and arc grenades. Best load out for it
im not bad at titanfalls 2 multiplayer but i swear when i eject and see "avenge me" or "drop and burn them" I go from getting 3 kills every life and dying to just not dying in general and on a rampage

I found a lochness monster plushie in the gauntlet when you first teleport into the place there are the tall rocks and if you climb on one you can find a lochness plushie just hiding from sight and it's relatively easy to find.
My favorite titan eject quote is something like "Get em tiger" which I believe is a spiderman reference but it may just be me looking to much into it

Hi I know this is late but I just found a Easter egg when you are in the second chapter of getting the time travel glove I was spamming it and found out when u do that he does this 👌🏻 and I recorded it before it had ended and It was surprising lol
About the Nessie plushies, there is one in the pilot's gauntlet, right at the beginning, before you wallrun or crouch, one of the side rock pillars has one on top
On number 2, my fav titan eject message is litterally “yeet seat”. The respawn devs must have the maturity of a 9 year old fortnite squeaker.
I got a secret titan message that was it was fun 4 times
Near the top of the training ground you can find platforms that have Lock Ness monster plushies. The only why I’ve gotten up there is with pathfinder’s zip line. It is one the left mountain.

Theres a message when you eject That says: "Do not throw away your shot." And im pretty sure its a hamilton reference.
You missed one. The multiplayer map which is a simulation reveals the ogre (heavy titan from the first game) at the very begging just before the match starts and your pilot starts the simulation.
My Friend I miss the Ogre. . . and the Atlas. . . and the Stryder. . . WHY DID THEY GIVE SET TITANS?! I MISS THE ORIGINAL CHASSIS!
