Great Car It is always a Great pleasure to be able to work on such a piece of Porsche Racing History as we are at the moment just applying a little more Neil Bainbridge Engineering to the history and giving it its post Sebring Service and check over and I just love Hurley's comment saying the car is as good as it was 40 yeas ago when he first drove it !! A credit to Myself and My Dedicated Staff.

I would give certain strategically important parts of my anatomy to own a 1973 RS like this one...
Nice film that brings back some great memories.

OH the cars that got me into endurance sports car racing. I loved them in the 1970's and they are STILL beuatiful today. Oh yes, Hurley Haywood and the late Peter Gregg, the memories...

saw then both at Daytona and Sebring in 1973. fast, smooth, consistent and seamless. They hadn't miss a beat. A very magnificent car. Haywood is correct in saying the sport was more informal and the cars more resembled a showroom road car.

having been to this race in 73' as a younger man, looking at life in reverse can be dauntingly depressing. The music brings back things to another place when the cars were so easy to relate to, and being so simple and playful compared to the complexity of today's single purpose race cars.

    Hey guys,
I have a question about Hurley Haywood 'Porsche in this video ... You claim it's a 1973 911 RS.
    Isen't it a 1973 911 RSR?
I'm not sure, and I'm just asking.
