Stunning car, especially the soundtrack. I think you’re driving CA 74 (?) The mountain roads here are magic, especially in classic sports cars. I’ve had my 964 up there - the older, compact 911s are a vivid experience, even at the speed limit.
Great video! One of my favorite parts of driving my 1973 911E was looking down the hood as it ate up the pavement. Although I have a couple of modern Porsches with much, much more horsepower than that car, videos like this make me nostalgic. I realize that you are driving it in warm weather, so I'll forgive you for not subtracting a Road Trip point or two for the almost worthless output produced by the heat exchangers.
I forgot to reset the odometer when I pulled away and any air cooled 911 owner knows that you never reset while in motion, so, I had to guess my mileage when I hit a mile 😊
Thank you for this video your subscriber on the West Coast Los Angeles. Don’t get mad at me, but I would give this thing a 10 on car show 10 on daily driver 10 on find factor 10 on road trip. 😂😂 well thank you for this video and I won’t be able to make it up north this year but one of these years I would like to meet you guys because I really enjoy all your videos.🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
@@carrerados Darn! You're going to be ~ 500 miles north of me. I have 12 more visits with the radiology oncologist and can't leave San Diego. Next time?
Definitely a “bucket list” drive opportunity! 👍
It really is!

Yes, highway 74 in Palm Desert.
Karl so cool to see your car go through the paces
Great review of an absolute icon!
It’s the first time I’ve seen Manny look nervous 🤣
😁
Any time I get to drive a car worth more than my house, I get nervous 😊
Excellent One-Mile drive review, Manny! Miles must be longer out in CA. LOL!! Keep up the GREAT work!

Thanks! We hope it will be too.
Fantastic car, it must have been hard to give it back.
Nice drive Manny!
Looks like CA 74 out of Palm Springs on the way to Mountain Center. Nice job Manny and you definitely got lucky with the traffic.
Beautiful 20 mile review!
Glad you liked it!

Owner was lucky to get his car back… it seemed like Manny was going to keep driving, forever! Nice review…

Absolutely a stunning iconic ride! Fantastic car, fantastic color!

Is this Bahama yellow or Signal yellow? Can’t quite tell. Great video

Thanks for the sub! Sounds like a Carrera RS would be your perfect car.
@ 9:17 it looks like you almost caught first gear. That might have been expensive on a downhill run. Heh heh
Please, how do I reset the trip distance counter on my 1996 993?
Driving my Dream!❤️❤️❤️
MANNY! You're famous! Who knew? When you coming to the west coast? Need to lash up, buddy.
Will be back next week for Werks Reunion in Monterey.

One more thing: If you run into John Rickard (owns Black Forest repair here), say hello for me. I don't get out much just now.
Hello from England 🏴
Cheers!
To many old ladies in PalmDesert that shouldn't be driving it would scare me to drive that rs down there.
😍👍👍
did you really stop driving after one mile :) really?
Would you have stopped after one mile if you had the keys to a real 73 RS? 😂
The route was about 8.5 miles round trip :)
3:56 is that the owner? looking glum
If it only had A/C.
😂
The "Missing The Point" comment of the day 🤣
@@gregspark9845 I live in California. That car is un drivable in the summer with out a/c.
@@bngr_bngr cars were driven long before a/c came along... 😉
@@gregspark9845 car starting in the 40’s had A/C as an option. Even trucks in the 50’s had A/C as an option.
That's a long, long mile.
😂
That not one mile 😊
😂
You should’ve really stretched her legs.
He was be respectful of the car, and owner.
