I’ve had one tank bag since 2008, and it’s been through three bikes. I love it! However, it left at least some scratches on every bike. I do go camping a lot, and you absolutely cannot let the magnets get close to any dirt. Because dirt has iron in it, so very small rocks can stick to the magnets, thus scratching the paint. Even brushing it off won’t get rid of the tiny particles you can’t see with the naked eye. I still use it on my brand new street bob, but try to be very careful. Even though I try , it still put a few small scratches on this new bike after just two months of ownership. You sound much more organized and careful than me. Enjoy and God bless.❤
Great video! My commute to work on the bike is going from 16miles to 110mile round trip so might get a tank bag to carry emergency gear in. Cheers for the video, loved it 👍🏻 🇬🇧
Funny how the same things are found to be useful carry along items for most of us. About 90% of the same items here. SAE>USB, lens wipes, ear plugs, portable battery, tylenol, small flash light, etc
Hey bro, keep the hand sanitizer in a ziploc bag in case it pops open, then it wont leak on your registrations :)
I'm so glad your back Brother! Missed seeing your content. Keep going, I do watch and like!!!
I love my tank bag. It's small enough to take along when you get off the bike, while not being so big that it's in the way while you're riding

I wipe the bottom off regularly, but thanks for the heads up about the dirt and iron.!
@@GasWorksISO my pleasure
I found the same issue.... I now rotate thru a micro fibre cloth or a piece of non skid under the bag...
Tape the tank with blue painters tape.
@@naps3386 good idea
Yeah I see a lot of people use tank bags, I have saddle bags myself, thanks for the video and it's good to hear from you 👍 stay safe everyone ✌️
The cat here also adores these tidbits

I guess I got the wrong tank bag. I hate mine.
I agree 100%. I'm always surprised when I see someone riding without one. Very handy for on the go storage.
