Into the 90s, there were several short tracks that they did not throw a yellow for cars that spun or slowed. Only a red if the track was blocked or if one flipped. Honestly, it made the race more interesting cause drivers could not slow down if they spun or ran off the track.
Thanks for posting this. This was a little before my time but I recognize some of the names. During the Sixties, I followed the USAC races at a local track near Cincinnati. Jack Bowsher fielded the Ford stock car AJ Foyt ran in USAC stocks as well as one for himself.
Maybe you could do a video about Austin Theriault’s truck series crash at Las Vegas, when his HANS device broke.
I knew Theriault got the wall extremely hard, but I never knew his HANS broke
