Have a king clari, alocasia dragons breath and a few other precious baby's putting New leaves out right now that make waking up a joy. Cymbidium orchids like to be pot bound I’ve seen it advised that you wait until it’s climbing out of the pot before repotting. I used to put mine outside for the summer and leave them outside until the weather cooled. The flowers are beautiful but it’s a plant that very quickly takes up a lot of space
Oh that is interesting I thought they needed space, most of my other orchids i keep a bit more restrained. 🌿 I’m always amazed by how much space they take up so quickly! Leaving them outside for the summer sounds like a great way to keep them happy. Their blooms are 100% worth the effort! 😍

I write horror, fantasy and SF of course. :-) Have publish a collection of adult fairy tales, a horror/fantasy novellete, and the first field guide of all the orchid genera of Greece.
You might enjoy Steve McHugh if you haven't read any of his stuff yet. Mark Lawrence is also really good. His Broken Empire series is a bit Game of Thrones-esque, so might not be your cup of tea, but his Impossible Times series was really good.

I particularly recommend the book Queen of the Slayers as it starts at the end of series 7. Have you ever read the Galactic Milieu books by Julian May? I totally agree on Tolkien! I did manage to read the 3 fellowhip of the ring books but i literally skipped forward to the end of any description that lasted more than a page! 😂😂

I wonder if you have a video just about different orchids species? Thought about getting one but I don't like the leaves of the Phalaenopsis and would rather have one with a more bushy look. Can you recommand a species for an orchid-beginner?🌿

Why on earth do you need to write a song or poem about every bloody thing!!?? 😂 Stay away from Anne Mcaffrey if you hate world building, my mother in law recommended the books to me, I think she was trying to kill me with boredom. Give me a creepy ghost story or a cheesy crime novel anyday.
