As someone with lots of championship and custom-made playmats, I couldn't help but to freak out every time you smeared coffee on those mats 😅 Definitely gonna give some of these methods a try in the future.

ooooh nice, i saw this posted on the tcg fb group, and have been using my laic 2019 competitor playmat on my desk, but never knew how to wash it, now I know how so I can even rotate with other playmats I have at home, thanks!

Nobody wants to throw thier $100+ playmat in the washing machine, but it works great, and your mat will be fine.

For regionals or travel you can carry around your tide pens. I saved a couple mats from random people last regional

Very helpful, thank you! I have several playmats that I rotate as desk mats and game mats and all are a bit grubby, but I haven't washed them as paranoid I will ruin them! Now I won't worry :D

This might be a silly question but can you put multiple mats in a pillow case or is it one per case?
I’ve not tried it before tbh! I’d imagine there’s nothing that would harm each other so I think two to a case would be fine, just protects the edges and glue
Do you just air-dry the mats out of the washer, or did you put them in the dryer with the pillowcase? Thanks for the tips!
Yes! I usually air dry, again just to be super gentle, it doesn’t take long :)
How many degrees temperature did you wash it in?
30 degrees on a quick 20 minute wash!
I lost interest on how to clean my playmat when I saw the cat 👀
