The best way to verify this illness is an Endoscopy. They’ll take a biopsy and test it for anything under the sun including H-Pylori. I was just diagnosed last week with Autoimmune Atrophic Gastritis. I also have Multiple Sclerosis for 6 yrs. My problem is they keep downplaying the severe PAIN some ppl have with this illness. I hope everyone receives the help they need.
This video is a doctor explaining what they have learned about this autoimmune gastritis. It doesn’t seem to give what to do to fix it. You have to be proactive do some research and figure out what can work for you. Stop eating processed or fast foods. There are other videos that give suggestions on what NOT to eat. To also eat foods rich in probiotics and prebiotics. Cutting out processed foods, cut out sodas, coffee, milk, wheat (especially GMOs). Keep away from onions, tomatoes, sugar. No spicy foods. Very important - No fried foods and No fast foods. No vegetable oil, no canola oil. Eat fresh vegetables, legumes, and some fruits. No processed meats - like bacon, hotdogs. Eat Real meat, chicken, fish. No acid fruits. When needing to use oil (but keep oil conception down) coconut oil (it is a solid), avocado oil, olive oil (make sure oils are not cut with other oils, oils from one country). Some say a Mediterranean diet type of eating. Small meals at each- breakfast, lunch, early dinner. Don’t snack/ no eating between meals. Drink water, herbal teas with honey. Try Raw Kaufir (tastes like yogurt and has lots of probiotics to help stomach), add some Kimchee or Sauerkraut to your meals. Both have good probiotics for stomach. Find time to exercise and walk, breath. It is important to keep stress down. Get check up with your doctor and keep track of your iron levels and B12. Check out videos on fasting.. fasting can be as simple as eating an early dinner then no eating till late in the morning when you have your breakfast. This gives stomach time to heal as well. These are only my suggestions. I have Autoimmune Gastritis. I found I am anemic and have had to have an iron infusion. I have had an endoscopy and the doctors have taken samples and know my level of issues. I have been working on following all this myself for the last three - four months and all this has helped with my symptoms. I wish you the best. Don’t wait to get cancer or die.. much luck.
This is the view from traditional doctors. Because there is probably no medicine for this, then there is no treatment. Only a person facing these problems will search this content in youtube and watching this leaves people hopeless. The content is good to understand the process and evolution but I still believe there has to be something to stop progression
@@lauramarino2168 I'm seeing a gastro enterologist soon. I was also diagnosed recently with severe candida over growth, which is now being treated. There is new research that connects fungal infection with autoimmune disease (like is already known for viral and bacterial infections). I'm hoping that might calm the issue. I have other autoimmune diseases, and was advised to avoid gluten. Some doctors advise supplemting with stomach acid, but I haven't done that yet.

So if you have this you just have to suffer everyday with uncontrollable burning pain until you get cancer and die?
Regular endoscopy if you are at risk. I was diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis this week after removing a neuroendocrine tumor(NET).
