Guys I was fortunate enough to restore my great grandfather 1949 John Deere with my grandad before he Passed away and I wouldn't give up those memories for anything!!! Great video keep it up! All the best to you 🚜🚜🚜
CA is my favorite. First small tractor with factory hydraulics, "live-ish" PTO, and spinout rims and a full complement of implements. Rebuilding my own, should mostly finish this year. I'm also modding it for 3pt and additional hydraulic remotes. It's definitely worth it to overhaul with the "overbore" kit to up the horsepower a tiny bit. That gets it to be able to pull a 3 bottom 14" plow in good sod conditions (2 bottom recommended though).
You might want to assess the hand clutch status quickly. AGCO still has the reline kit, but there's some concern as to how long it will still be available.
if you hook up the chain to the draw bar when you pull them up the trailer they will steer straight up , instead of pulling from the front . just how i do it .

I'm soaking up all my grandpas knowledge while I can for sure. Sorry for you loss but he will live on in that tractor.
Enjoy the time and energy working on the tractors. Allis was good about using the same parts for several tractors. Should be able to get parts.
I definetly noticed that, pretty well the same engine in the WC and WD which is neat.
I'm interested in seeing what's up with the one you didn't haul home.
Just brought it back, it fired right up. I will put a picture in the community tab of it in our shop!

I just heard it run yesterday. So that's a positive! The rebuild starts shortly!

@@roadrunner3563 I will have to drive it and give it a test drive. The hand clutch condition is unknown as of now.

Never thought of that. Thanks
I love my AC's. Got an unstyled WC, a Wd, and a B now, but had several B's and a C before.
Sweet, I seem to have too many of them right now.
@@ThreeGenerationsRestoration I hear that. I have over 25 tractors now. Lol
@tractormike685 that's good problem to have!
the thing in the middle is a cultivator lift
Thank you so much! This all makes sense because there was a culitvator setup we are still going to get. I appreciated your help!
Macanical cultivator lift
Gotcha, thanks!
I always thought the AC- G was cool….
They are, we had a few if you take a look at my past video I traded one.
