What great little spot, I was up there last week with my son on my first walk of the new year. Parked in the big layby near Cutthroat Bridge and hoofed it up to Back Tor. Spied yer mate Mezz's pitch whilst there. Cracking weather till a front came in from Kinder. We managed to get back to the car before the rain hit us. I fancy an overnighter up there now I know I can cope with the terrain (bad ankles). It's nice to hear a proper local dialect on here. Another Sheffield lad here. ATB Andy - stay safe.

A cracking spot indeed Andy. I'm gonna have to get my self up your way, looks stunning mate, till then i'll enjoy watching your trips up there. I tell you something though, i can't keep up with you, every time i check you have another couple of camps under your belt. Fair play Andy. I had a Dartmoor fail last week, a great trip but pulled the plug on the camp with the low cloud and ever present drizzle...not much fun when it's like that. Always great to watch and always informative keep it up mate. ATVB. Jim.

Hi Andrew. Happy New Year to you. Loverly "Casper" pose at the end of the vid. I love that area, both up on the edge, and on the paths round the reservoirs. Nice image of the Salt Seller. Last time I went up on Derwent Edge, I took the left path to walk round the back of the Ladybower Pub & not towards Cutthroat Bridge then took a really steep climb up the hill which brings you up to the point where the path you took, joins that one. Its much easier to see that path on the way down! Much easier going down than up!! Look forward to the next vid. Cheers Robert.

We didn’t have loads of time so we ended up on Bamford Edge, he dragged me into a pub and made us late. It’s the first time I’ve been up there so I really enjoyed it, close the spot that you camped on a while ago. Keith enjoyed it like he always does I’ll have to see if there’s anything worth putting together that can be broadcast, it’s the first time we’ve been out in a while. I had a couple of injuries last year so fingers crossed we can crack on a bit this year. Thanks for the info, it’s definitely on the list of places to try now, and makes a change from the usual places.
