'21 Sport Glide Owner and I hear your frustrations. I have made many mods to mine as well. Including the riser and handle bar plunge. I will say that it finally is where I want it. My plan is to ride it 2-3 more years then upgrade to a Lowrider ST or a touring model.
I have a 2018 SG and put on an AdvanBlack ST fairing at the beginning of this year. Way more comfortable than the stock mini and ,for me I like it better than the bat wing which I ran for about 5 months.
Hi Todd, I’m in exactly the same place. The Sport Glide is a great bike but like you I have out grown it. I’m not going the the Tourer direction though as that’s not the sort of riding I do so I off to my dealership tomorrow and picking up my new LowriderST. Ride safe
Sport glide is my first bike and I’ve already dumped so much into it that I’ll never get back. I’ve thought about doing the same but feel like I’m just going to hang onto it not knowing anything thing better. 😅 Thanks for your videos! 👍
Sounds good. Watch for my next video. I'll be taking all of the parts off and I'll have them listed in the description. In the meantime message me so I remember to give you 1st. Shot.
Here is a sneak peek at the video I will be publishing on Tuesday Sept. 3rd. This video has the complete parts list in the description along with my email, etc. Feel free to send me a purchase request sooner than later. I think many of these parts won't last long. Oh boy, this is going to cost me ! I've pretty much copied everything you have done Todd to get my Sport Glide to where it is today, but if you must ! Let me know what you are getting so I can get my order into HD Belfast, Northern Ireland. 😃Only joking, Ill keep mine a while longer. Thanks for all your discussions, i'll keep watching !
So, buying parts, hiring someone to bolt them on (and disparage what they charge when you can't do the labor yourself) is called "A Build". That's your modern day motorcycle buyer for ya. Notice I said "buyer", not "owner". There's a big difference.
You've obviously never watched any of my content and you've clearly not even watched this entire video. You seem to put yourself above others when it comes to mods, but even you, like me, would need to involve a shop to build custom cables, brake lines, etc. for a Sport Glide. If you had actually watched the video, you would have seen that I never once jabbed at the shop for charging for their services. The point is, I don't feel that heading deeper down the rabbit hole is going to take me to where I really want to be. As I stated in the video, I've just outgrown this motorcycle and it's time to move on. Before you troll someone you should take the time to actually watch the entire video and understand the message. Otherwise, you just end up sounding like an uninformed jerk, like in this case. Hope my time here wasn't wasted. My hope is that the next time you feel the urge to make ugly, uninformed judgment comments, you'll hit the pause button. Best wishes...
@@ToddsProjectsandOutdoorJournal Blah, blah, blah. I'm a machinist, tool & die maker. I make what I need. Next time you pick up an Allen wrench, if you do, think of me. I make the die, that makes the wire, that makes the wrench. I've OWNED the same bike for 38 years. More miles than I can count. I know her inside and out.

Been an avid watcher Todd. I'll be very much interested in the fairing.
Watch for the next video that is scheduled to publish on Tuesday September 3rd.
Thanks for all your videos; Even though I was in Turkey, I bought parts like Saddlebag Guards from Poland, thanks to you :)
Hi Todd. Thanks for all your FLSB videos. They’ve been great and really helpful. I look forward to some videos of the new bike in due course.
You bet!
I feel you, Im on the same boat with my Fat Bob
I SEE A ROAD GLIDE IN YOUR FUTURE, TODD!!!
Could be... thanks for watching!

Thanks, best wishes...
I’m interested in the lowering wind deflectors on the stock fairing

Thanks, leaning towards the 2024 Road Glide. Deciding soon... Best wishes and safe riding my friend...
Ok, do you know what you want for your next bike? I like your videos thx you
Leaning toward the 2024 Road Glide... But stay tuned, I'm still looking at my options.
Try Bmw or Honda.
It’s a nice bike but it’s a city cruiser.
Same bike as the Low Rider ST, Harley classifies it as a sport Touring (ST). I agree that it's a sport cruiser / lightweight (700lbs) touring bike.
