I'm glad Gav kept the show going the pandemic, but I am SOOOOO happy Dan's back. There's pure, palpable joy in this video, and that really is what made it worth watching.

I really like that after all these years Gav and Dan are still using the minimal editing and production style, as well as understated performances in front of camera. I'm sure it's deliberate, and I think I can speak for us all when I say that it's appreciated.
I think this style is perfect as the slo mo footage is where the main event is. Loads of channels could learn from this - you don’t get 14.1 million subs for nothing 😃

I have to say, it's great to see the support on this channel is so strong that no one ever reeeally complained about not having Dan during the dark times. what i love about the videos in the dark times is that it shows how gavin is intelligent and curious and then as soon as dan is back it's like take that and put it in a blender to have the same product but much more chaotic
Last year at an airsoft event in the uk, i Met Dan, (his personality and presence is the same IRL) he was just as bummed out as us that he couldn't film with Gav due to all the travel restrictions. So nice to see you two back at it... must of taken months of tunneling especially with out a light😁

I had a huge smile on my face from the moment I saw Gav scoot over until the final frame of the video. Really happy to see the best bromance on TH-cam reunited at last.
It's great to see Dan back! Loved the intro too. As a retired swimming coach, I would put swim caps on kids almost every practice by dropping them. The technique was to turn the cap inside out, fill with water, have the kids tilt their heads down slightly, line up with the drips coming off the cap, and drop. After a while, I was able to get the caps on nearly perfect every time. The kids loved this too. Another fun cap trick was to stretch the cap out enough to fit a whole swimmer inside. You had to have a small group of kids holding the cap by the edges as they pulled it slowly back and forth underwater. The cap would gradually stretch out larger and larger. When it was big enough, the designated swimmer would tuck into a ball as the enlarged cap was coming towards them. Once inside, the group would release the cap at the same time. We did rip a lot of caps in the process, but it was fun.

So happy to see Dan back! The solo vids were still cool to watch but the shenanigans and dynamic between you both is what makes the channel I think!! So much gratitude to you both for all the incredibly content!
Missed Dan so much and I'm happy the Slow Mo Guys are complete again. Having them both play off of each other is what makes this channel great for me. I have not laughed that hard in a long time. Also, the ending was just the cherry on the cake!

It's great to see Dan back! Loved the intro too. As a retired swimming coach, I would put swim caps on kids almost every practice by dropping them. The technique was to turn the cap inside out, fill with water, have the kids tilt their heads down slightly, line up with the drips coming off the cap, and drop. After a while, I was able to get the caps on nearly perfect every time. The kids loved this too. Another fun cap trick was to stretch the cap out enough to fit a whole swimmer inside. You had to have a small group of kids holding the cap by the edges as they pulled it slowly back and forth underwater. The cap would gradually stretch out larger and larger. When it was big enough, the designated swimmer would tuck into a ball as the enlarged cap was coming towards them. Once inside, the group would release the cap at the same time. We did rip a lot of caps in the process, but it was fun.
