My first car meet in about 20 years and first time on the dragon! I had a blast, was going to come say hi but got nervous seeing how many people were approaching 😅I’m definitely going again next year! 🐉
Myself and fellow enthusiasts in the area live for the cool mornings! 30° is boost and VTEC weather no doubt. We're fortunate enough up here in New England in the fall to have mornings in the teens and sometimes the 10s before the snow hits and the roads are destroyed from the temperatures and the salt. What a considerable difference in response and power with the lower temps... Throw in a gallon or two of aviation fuel and it's a recipe for a hell ride through the countryside.
nice man i live a little east of raliegh, i went to the dragon for the first time recently and it was amazing, i am shocked on how i have never been to the mountains and ive lived in nc my entire life... and i happen to comment on this video cause i happed to be there with some homies on this weekend... it was just a random trip for us but there happend to be hella fuckiung hondas everywhere... got me wanting an fk8 to really rip those roads that car shreads
I can definitely sympathize! My son and I are both Honda enthusiasts unfortunately living 40 minutes from Canada makes a trip to the dragon a week's plus vacation. We do have the Kancamagus highway which is incredible in itself and about 32 miles in length but it doesn't have the legacy or the heritage or the car meets like the dragon does.
@@jrock162000 1k % worth man if you havent been it was amazing... and its just a straight shot there just take I-40 west... even I-40 there had crazy switchbacks to be a highway it was wild
This video bummed me out at the 11:02 mark. Unfortunately Richard (owner of the red s2000 you guys built) passed away this past Friday in a skydiving accident. His car turned out beautiful, and he was an awesome guy. Known him about 11 years now, and he will be greatly missed!!
Yes. I mentioned it in the description. We found out this passed weekend and saddened by the news. I described to leave the clip of Richard in the video, we both liked him and he’ll be missed for sure.
I'm glad you left the clip in, it was nice seeing him in the car with it finished, and that will be on here forever. Great video as always, and thanks!
Wonderful video John! Was such a great experience to make the trip down from NY to attend this meet. Will def be back next year. Respect you guys a lot! Thanks for tuning me in to this fantastic event and gorgeous area!
I’ve been waiting for this video! I was really glad I got to meet you guys and talk a bit with you. Your videos are much appreciated in the community with the knowledge you share and just the entertainment value.
Awesome trip. My EFs burn me out of the car, their heaters are amazing. Especially my hatch in a Chicago winter. The CRX looked great, looked like a solid ride. Great pic at the end. R.I.P. Steve
What a wonderful Trip. I love this kind of curvy roads. I do a bunch of them during the year in Europe. But I would love to join you in 2024 or 2025, as soon I figured out, how I can borrow a car which is similar to mine a take full participation of it. Let's keep in touch and keep us updated. I'm hyped 😎🍻

Jeff’s a good guy. I’ve known him 20+ years now.

They usually work well if you don’t monkey around with them. lol. I really need to change back to a back thermostat.
ah yes you mentioned that in the video and I was like makes sense for a car that lives most of its life in FL.

Good MPG for that engine.
92 octane is $6.00+ per gallon here in Seattle 😩
