Brother in Law Rich here. Looking forward to another tasting, Joe, we are good for the Old Forester, it is a Bottled an Bond, also I have the Old Forester1920.
Hey joe that was actually my question cool story On Sunday evening, April 2, 2006, a severe storm with tornado strength winds tore through Central Kentucky, damaging two Buffalo Trace Distillery aging warehouses. One of the damaged warehouses was Warehouse C, a treasured warehouse on property, built by Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. in 1885. It sustained significant damage to its roof and north brick wall, exposing a group of aging bourbon barrels to the elements. That summer, the exposed barrels waited patiently while the roof and walls were repaired, meanwhile being exposed to the Central Kentucky climate. When these barrels were tasted years later, it was discovered that the sun, wind, and elements they had experienced created a bourbon rich in flavors that was unmatched. This was truly a special batch of barrels, and though the Distillery does not hope for another tornado, it feels lucky to have been able to release this once in a lifetime product.
Joe thanks for answering my questions 💞 that was a beautiful hawk and a beautiful story in the end that it may not have been a useless loss if they will mount it and be able to use it for education. When I hear about the birds dying on your window or crashing into it, I think they are just so used to flying that specific path and when you built the room there are still some who are used to the way it was before. Imagine if the same way you traveled daily suddenly changed..like adding a wall in your house or a stop sign in the road where there was none...there are going to be a few stubbed toes or a possible crash.
I guess Nancy read you what I wrote about a neighbor who had long orange steamers hanging on outside of house, blowing in the wind… it was to keep birds from flying into her windows . She had a chest freezer full of many many species of birds to show…. Yeah. It’s an issue all over. We had them fly into ours. Are you going to put blinds or curtains in sunroom? I wonder if there was covering, if it would help. Perhaps do an experiment and hang something temporary in the one window or in sunroom. That’s the only thought I have. I don’t know if that would make it less translucent to them or not. Im happy about your new channel! It’s fun!

I think your bird feeds are just to close to your windows. My suggestion would be to move them lower off the deck to help save the birds from crashing. Best of luck!
Thanks for the comment. I do have plans on putting a few feeders down closer to the back of my property. I’m hoping the window clings will help with the window issue.
Hi Joe, I live in the Louisville Ky area where Old Forrester is bottled. I have a friend that works for the bottling plant. If you are able to ever acquire a bottle of the Old Forrester birthday bourbon you should! Also Woodford Reserve is the same company and I was told that Woodford is 70 or 80% Old Forrester and 20-30% Woodford because the owner at the time of Brown Forman Distillery did not like Woodford on its own so he did a mix. Old Forrester original is my go to bourbon but I drink it in old fashions not straight.
Yesterday I had a falcon swoop down and grab a chic & that mama chicken tried to fly up an attack but it was too late The Falcon flew off with the chic !
Hey Joe I wanted to ask you said the age you legally drank was 19 I thought it was 21 you had to be to drink in America? . I'm from London england 🇬🇧 we can legally drink at 18 over here

Rumor has it you were the Best Man at Big Bird's wedding because you're so down with the birds. Any truth to that?
