Living in the smokies.. I’ve had real moonshine. It was so smooth… have to be careful, it will sneak up on you. I enjoy yours videos and this channel! Glad to see you home and relaxing from your trip. Always good to go… makes you appreciate home even more.
Unfortunately, I had to have a couple trees around my house taken down this week. What an intersting thing to watch those men climb those big trees and take down big limbs, not touching a building! Anyway- as I sat on my porch swing, lamenting the $ and loss of my beautiful trees… the birds came out. The yard was full of robins for days! Hen the blue irds. Getting bugs and whatever they get. It was so beautiful! The 10 men and their equipment were replaced with all of these happily singing birds. I still have many trees. I just had to take down the problematic ones. A huge limb fell in my she shed quilting room next to my house a couple weeks ago. It was time… anyway, the birds and deer are my silver lining. We won’t talk about the gophers … 🥰
If you visit Gatlinburg.. you can go in and sample all you want. At least, the last i weeny over the mountain it was that way. It’s been a few years. That place is really busy! It’s fun- pigeon forge and Gatlinburg are kinda one now.
I grew up with a family dog whose name was Carmel. She was that color. I have no idea if the vet's written records gave her a middle syllable or not when she went in for her annual shots. He was primarily a large animal vet, so he may have just labeled her file "beige female dog" because that was the only dog we had in that era and my parents primarily did cattle business with him. (Nancy, i thought you might appreciate a little vet office logic) Hope you are safely back from Florida!!
Thanks for sharing 😊 when I started working at the Knoxville Veterinary Clinic it was a mixed practice for large and small animals. I always enjoyed going back to the large animal side to see the cows when they were there. One time a cow gave birth to a 2 headed calf. That was an exciting day! 😊 Nancy
Thanks….you’ve got me sitting here saying caramel apple over and over again😂😂 Soooooo, I’m pretty sure I say caramel whether there’s an apple after it or not😂
Popcorn Sutton made some goooood moonshine. I drank some jungle juice at a college party that was made with moonshine that was 40 years ago i still cant find my pickup.
Just subbed. I like your main channel and had to sub to this one. I don’t know much about bourbon, but I think I’ll have an appreciation after watching a few videos. 👍🏼
Lol, Nancy! I saw that second splash Carmel apple 😉 I get the song reference👍 but my feelings on getting caught in the rain is if I am going out or going home. I don't like getting wet on the way to something... But rain on the way home or just because, I could do a song and dance, relive my childhood and play in the rain. Same here Nancy.. My only moonshine test could strip paint! Glad y'all are home safe and sound.
Joe seems to be having fun with this channel 😊 This was fun watching you two together.
Gotta say it is a lot of fun! Thanks
I love you are doing this together. So fun. You could do bug 🐜 tasting and I’d watch 😂❤u2

My husband is going to be doing some work replacing some valves at Sazerac House in New Orleans. Need anything while he’s there?
Wow I would not know where to start, Stagg, Pappy, and EH Taylor are fantastic flagships in the bourbon world!
