I had the attachment point on my new radiator pull apart. I was able to get it back together but a few months later I replaced the engine and had to redo this connection again making my own copper tubing instead of the softer aluminum.
Hi Jason Banker , I had same thing happen to me, had my truck towed to the shop last night, mechanic will be looking at it today. Have you had yours fixed? What did you end up doing?
Jason Banker, will they have to replace water pump as well ? I'm just asking because I had my timing belt replaced along with water pump about 25K mi back, and wondering if it got damaged by transmission oil when it pumped through cooling system?
i have a small leak on mine but it seems to just be in the radiator itself and nowhere to be seen if used a soap and water test so see it and now just trying to get it replaced
Thanks for this video, I need to replace my oil cooler and radiator on my 2007 and wasn't sure if you could simply remove the fans and put them on the new rad. Rock auto sells radiators with out the fans for about 100$ my local honda dealership sells them with the fans only for 800$ ridiculous
How long did this all take? and what brand is the new radiator? Someone must sell one that isn't garbage! Mine is leaking externally (Thank God) and thanks to your video I am confident in replacing it myself. Bravo!
Capi Mosiest Brosiest , it only took one evening. Not to bad though. I got mine from a local parts store. I dont have a lot of faith in the quality but has last so far.
I followed your very informative video and completed the new radiator installation. But I’m wondering if this can’t be done without removing the lower splash guard. It’s a pain so if it could be avoided it would make this job much easier. What do you think?
None of the videos I've watched show the radiator actually being pulled out. One minute the mechanic is saying, "Hmmm, I should be able to get that thing out of there now..." Then it's sitting on the driveway.
Best part of this video is your sense of humor!
Lol. You’re garage is exactly like mine! Diet Dew in the fridge!
Lol. So sorry for you then.
Who else is here because the transmission cooler lines failed at the radiator?

Ryan Wojack this is exactly what has happened to mine. Started spewing red fluid from the coolant overflow tank and had it towed immediately.

Lol. I just saw this comment. I don't blame you.
My transmission cooler line on my 2008 Accord recently failed as well. Let the dealer fix the problem for $1150.00.
