  • This video tells the short version of the story of my journey learning to play music as a visually impaired person. Some people might think that music is a very natural path for someone with poor vision to take as it is much more connected with hearing than with sight! And while there is a lot of truth in this idea, there are also some problems for blind and visually impaired people who want to learn or study music seriously. I only encountered one of them, described in this video, but I only attempted to study muscic very briefly and sort of “on the side” of other things I was doing. If any of you watching or reading this want to discuss more issues relating to this, or if you are an awesomely talented blind or VI musician, please leave a comment! Or leave questions for me! Enjoy!
Many thanks to my friends and former colleagues who have collaborated on musical projects/performances with me before and gave me permission to have them appear briefly alongside me in this video!
