I never tried soaking the handles, although it wouldn't be a bad idea to try it. Most times the heat gun will leave a mark on the handle. And yes, I do just bend it by hand. I have a vise I use for applying pressure to a specific area to bend it back
Did you end up finishing the video? I would have liked to see if it worked or what the whole process looked like and if it was successful.
Yeah, sorry, I did finish the handle, and I think I sold it? I didn't have any issues of it warping back.
