Yes the price that most South African sides had to pay after the Springboks won the world cup was that their Springboks were rested for weeks after the world cup and the Stormers had a disastrous 4 game tour of Europe without their Springboks early in the competition. Guess it is now the turn of the European sides. Would like it if the competition was structured more fairly. Leinster have never beaten the Stormers and they have never played their best side against the Stormers, so Stormers may yet again get an easy win against them later in the season as they have basically qualified for the play-offs allready and would probably focus their maximum energy on the Investec Champions Cup and on resting their internationals. So the luck of the draw plays a major role in the URC unfortunately.

Unfortunately I agree. I loved Herchelle's intensity at the start when he arrived but he slowed down I think mainly in his head and that makes him indecisive. Paul does not hesitate.

The South African’s are going to put it up to the vulnerable Irish and Welsh teams.
So many great prospects in this Stormers side. Even without Sacha we look organized. Simelane.. wow! Good move to have come to Cape Town. And we need him with Nel getting on. Such a win-win. Roos getting back to his best and looking more collected bodes well. Hope Dayimani will be persuaded to stay here. I get that he is looked at and getting big offers from overseas but I believe there is space for both him and Roos in this side especially as long as we have workhorses like Fourie and Xaba at 6. Hope we can get the money together to keep all our best at home.

What is it about Saffas' weird outlook on life that you complain so much even when you win a game? I have a work colleague, originally from Gqeberha, who came in on the Monday after the WC final and spent the whole day moaning about how the two SA yellow cards shouldn't even have been penalties, he was more upset about that than he was happy at winning!
As for the Edinburgh 21, he was only on for 13 minutes so couldn't have been "constantly kicking the ball out of Jantjies hands". He did block a pass with his foot, something he's perfectly entitled to do.

Libbok will never be a consistently reliable kicker... that's his weakness
