The fascination for nature’s beauty is something we have in common and want to share with you. We are two photo and nature-enthusiasts exploring the macro-worlds of the forests in Vienna. We look very closely at the extraordinary plasmodial or Acellular Slime Moulds and other beautiful small life-systems or mushrooms.
In science, Slime Moulds are not classified as mushrooms, but are seen as a very unusual life form, with many unexpected properties. Many of them show colorful fruiting bodies.
We are not biologists, and identifying the names and species of Slime Moulds takes expertise. In this video, we have included the names to the best of our ability and knowledge. Some Slime Moulds in this video have not been officially documented or registered in Austria until now.
Every life form counts and we want to show our respect for life itself.
