  • Today I went to the Jelly Belly factory located in Fairfield, California for a tour to see how they make those tasty Jelly beans. Jelly Belly Candy Company, formerly known as Herman Goelitz Candy Company and Goelitz Confectionery Company, is an American company that manufactures Jelly Belly jelly beans and other candy. The company is based in Fairfield, California, with a second manufacturing facility in North Chicago, Illinois.

Awesome video! Was very interesting to see the Jelly Bellies being made. A classic and delish candy. Hopefully they will get enough corn starch soon to resume production as normal, as well as the people there to buy the candy. Very cool mug you got from the gift shop. Looks like a really fun experience and I'd definitely go if I was in the area.

Lovely plant tour . Nice to see the lines productions . I always love to see production…I was a foreman in a meat plant in Montreal for 14 years . The packaging was my department and we were 2 foreman’s and there was about 60 employees. Hygrade Foods was the name , they did Hotdogs and all sort of cold meats …salami pepperoni chicken loaf etc…
You were probably on a week day …must be crowded in the weekend or summer time when the children are on vacation

Fascinating video Brian!!! Great to see where jelly belly beans are made. We get them here in the UK. Did they say why they were running low on corn starch? Was it to do with what’s going on in the Ukraine? Amazing to see the process, drying etc. Some clever machinery in the factory and I was amazed at how clean it all looks. I wonder what they use in those bottles to colour and flavour the beans 👍🏻😊. Have a great day mate.

Cool tour Brian, did you get some Belly Flops at the beginning of the tour? My wife said they used to do that. Sweet place to visit.

We did get a little bag of Jelly beans in the beginning and after we bought a bag of Jelly Belly Flops those flops are the best 😋 Thanks for watching 😃

Very cool tour! I believe the jelly belly factory in Kenosha Wisconsin gives guided tours on electric powered carts. I haven’t been there in a while, I’ll have to go back.
