Gaining all the knowledge and putting my business in a good financial state form the start . Having CDL vs Non-CDL brings more responsibility I think in a few ways but one thing I’ve learned just getting in early in the game is get ORGANIZED is a must ! #grinding

I have no issues finding loads for my driver in my semi. And I don't even look at any loads on the board that's below 11 thousands pounds for the cdl box truck I drive. You'll be surprised how brokers will almost always give you what you're asking for once it's over 12k pounds. Because they know the non cdl box truck market is over saturated. And they'll not get a non cdl box truck to take that load. So if I find a load that's like 20k pounds I'll call on it and try to get like 2.65 and up to get in on my cdl box truck or 3.50 and up to get it on my semi for my driver.

Excellent content, thanks for doing that. I noticed the load board listed 2 loads back to back and were identical. Does this mean there are 2 identical separate loads or mistakenly listed twice. Also the broker said he had 3 loads coming out of there. Would you ask to take more than 1?

What about backload once you drop. I've had broker's and dispatch line up a load so you know another once I drop. I can also make a factor in my decision to accept or decline a load. Sometimes the second load is worth a small lost on the primary load and helps setup your weeks pay
How do you keep your gvwr for truck and trailer below 26,001 lbs rated weight? What's the most you can carry, not including trailer weight, with that setup?

I just started with a 26' box truck, been on the road 3 weeks & spent 13 out of the 21 days waiting to get a load...what happened to oh there's a driver shortage & more work than there are drivers?? If you don't work with good shippers or negotiate your own loads...(my owner does all of that, I just drive) you will be sitting more than you will be driving!
