What's up, I just started following you from Will's channel. I love what you're doing man. Once my wife and I are able to buy a spot, the first thing I am doing is planting fruit trees and berry bushes. I am looking forward to all your content.
Too much mulch can cause the roots to suffocate because while the mulch helps maintain moisture, it also dries out and doesn't allow the roots the oxygen it needs to survive if too much is added. Once dry, it creates a habitat for bugs and underground critters that aren't as beneficial to plant survival. It can also hold too much moisture in wet climates, causing roots to rot. I'll be 58 on the 11th of July, and we grew up on raw milk and traded eggs, chicken, hay, grain, or other things for the milk 🥛. Sometimes, even having milk farmers and their families over for dinner and a game of cards or poker. Watching them play with pennies and nickels was so much fun. My children are grown, but none of us can tolerate milk from grocery stores like we could raw milk without meeting the 🚻 within 20 minutes. I'm happy to see you collaborate with Will to help him learn more with your skills. Trading skills and things we can share with our friends and neighbors needs a major comeback. 💪
Comfrey is also known as knitbone, the leaves are highly effective for healing wounds and even broken bones. Mash up those leaves and mix with warm water and apply directly to the skin and wrap

@@BarefootapplachiaI’ll make sure to drop a follow! Love what you guys are doing brotha fr y’all give me so much inspiration, I’m 20 and I hope I can do what y’all do soon. Barefootapplachia x will survives x Nate petroski x northern Dabber coming soon 🤙🏽
You are such a great and energetic spirit I hope that all of Will survive and Nate petrowski fans at the narrow way Homestead all follow you after watching this amazing work that you've done
I was living in a wall tent outside of Asheville one summer and there was huge rainstorm. My tent got soaked and anything that was leather in my tent started molding. I managed to dry everything else thankfully
watching wills vid with you and had to follow. you’re a cool dude doing cool things and i like what your doing and i get to learn cool things while watching a fun video 🙌🏼
I wonder if you could talk to the power company and see what you could do to not have them sprayed. Maybe have the property maintained to a certain level. Ie cutting the brush and grass back.
Oh wow im jealous. Ive always wanted to try taw milk and maple syrup is one of my FAVORITE sweets (im partial to maple syrup candies) goodness and those berries?! My gosh this is a blessed content. Thank you for sharing with us! Blessings to you barefoot 🪻✨
I have 150 200 plant food forest in south GA. If u ever want to come out for a few days do a video of what I got going on so far. U NEED To be growing paw paw by the river. Look them up 😊
Awesome content, man. Careful with fasting and cleansing, friend. Purist approaches are on-ramps to eating disorders. Love what you're doing with perma culture. Keep up the good work, fighting the good fight
Okay so let me first say that I love your energy! Your knowledge of plant cultivation is great.Your an expert about natural landscaping and it comes very naturally to you! You are positive and self driven which is very unique and uplifting to watch. Some words that I think describe you are Horticulturist, Botanist, Geographer, Topographer and a quintessential Naturalist...quite naturally. You have dedicated your life to sharing and learning, learning and sharing, a very rare trait you are blessed with. I am glad that you have connected with Will and I hope you guys stay in touch forever. I have to tell you tho, the cardboard idea seems like a smart idea but its not. Cardboard is made with a ton of chemicals that can harm plants and that definitely will contaminate the soil and ground water. I know you know about PFAS....corrugated cardboard is filled with forever chemicals as well as formaldehyde and dioxin none of which are safe in the soil or groundwater. I'm sure the chemicals the state sprayed all over that property contain mass amounts of those and other herbicides that will bioaccumulate for years but the cardboard you placed will affect those plants quickly and ya'll did too much work to let that happen. Sorry to break the news but if I didn't it would bother me forever. Don't worry, I still like you the same and am excited for your journey. Delete my comment after you read it, I won't be mad😎
Also I have everything you would need to start a nursery. I have a pond full of fish and surrounded by sphagnum and good soil. I going set u in ur way with 100s of select seeds. I have over 15 different types of pomegranates in persimmons alone and can teach u to air layer cloning grafting etc. u could leave with 10000 of plants if u wanted
Shit when that water really comes up everything right there will get washed away. I'm from Louisiana home of the floods I know a potential flood zone when I see one. May not be today or even tomorrow but that garden's gunna get smoked.
my 42 yr old son got some raw milk from the Amish and he loves it! They store it in an underground ice cave at their house. Was like $2 for a gallon jug.
I knew that Will sounded like my family since we are from eastern Kentucky and always went to Huntington WV to the mall and I said that he sounds like he is close to my stomping grounds. I just moved here 7 years ago but I miss home which will always be Kentucky. So where is he from? It’s awesome that you are helping him and I was just able to find you and I subscribed to you as well.
Rain, mud suck! Bugs! Dryer grounds! And you think Alaska will be easy! This definitely a challenge for you! I know you love a good challenge! Stay high and dry! Probably why they sold that piece of land! Nate can get water from there? Looks miserable!
