YOO, I just ordered a quest 2 yesterday and I was panicking on how much more I had to spend in order to have my full body tracking dream, but knowing something like this actually exist with half the cost feels much better! This is my first time in vr so my expectation for high end accuracy are rather low since I’m on a budget, so the cons shouldn’t be too harsh for me honestly lol.

I have vive trackers but it cost me 5 trackers, 1 base station, and the straps was over $1000 plus it sucks trying to use with oculus. One of the few good videos I've seen for these. Are you planning on getting the hip trackers? Also when it comes to the tracking settings in the configurator that allow you to change the position offsets, have you used those? I've gotten mine recently and I'm trying to work some kinks out. Notably my arms floating above my legs when I'm sitting and I place them on my thighs.
If you know how to solder you can make your own SlimeVR trackers. All the documentation is online and discord. It's actually an easy and beginner friendly project. I did it.

Yo, just got my x1.1 about a week ago. Love it to bits, but I'd like to know after nearly a year how yours has held up. The main issue I've been having is that I haven't been able to lie down on my back without my legs bending inwards/spazzing out. I noticed you were laying down around 5:25 but that was about it. Wondering if you had any ideas. 6 foot dude tryna use a 5'1 avatar for the record
did everything in the videos and when i get into vr chat game on steam and click calibrate fbt.. it wont work what do i do it shows the cats on steam vr i installed the firmware everything and driver?
I got HaritoraX Wireless and its a good-ish solution although idk why when using OVR Advanced Setting Motion my feet aren't able to phase through the floor like other FBT users so if i try to drag myself down I end up a contorted mess and it seems to be the same with other HaritoraX Wireless users and the constant recalibration might put some ppl off depending on what you're planning to do.
Hiya! I had the same issue but there is an option on the configurator that fixes that issue. Go to other settings in the configurator, tracking and at the bottom there is option to disable "Sole sticks to floor". Click that and then you can play space like normal.
1:45 busted me up cos I just got some trackers from Amazon that were supposed to work with slime. After fumbling around with code and still not managing to get em going, they’re going back 😭🤣
comfirming this, to use the bluetooth tracking, you need to have a computer, yes? my problem is that im too broke to buy a gaming computer to run vrchat PLUS connect my oculus quest 2. i have a small gaming laptop, it runs vrchat well but when i connect my oculus, its TERRIBLE. is there anything i can do to fix lagging with that or is my computer just not good enough.
Nah, I recommend checking your bluetooth settings, or message shiftall for customer support. I think they might have something regarding that in their manual too
I have a very high end PC, with a Ryzen 7 5800X and an RX 6800 with 32GB of RAM. For gaming laptops, I don't see a reason on why they wouldn't work, check and see if your laptop is VR compatible, like using Oculus Link or Air Link to test, if it works, Haritora I assume would have no problem working with it, as long as you have a bluetooth connection.

OK question. Did you have trouble attaching the main unit to the main unit fixing pad strap? I had to cut the extra stitching out and make the strap longer with some duct tape. It was the very first step and I'm hoping that the rest of this process is smooth.
@@JordonAM Maybe mine was just a little weird because there was no way the sensor was getting onto that strap. But now I have it reinforced with staples and duct tape.
I don't know where you heard this from, but Haritora would need about the same requirements as SlimeVR. i.e. Not a supercomputer. Even a gaming computer works. It's not a heavy app/program. Dunno who told you that but I defo didn't.
I ordered mine in April and got it in Late May. They reopened in Mid April and I believe they're gonna be shipping those soon. They're ordering more chips so they will be updating on when they'll be restocking

here is the thing with all non base station trackers. they are all very good and all but lack immense ammount of precision. you can see how much the feet drift arround despit the feet of the real person being planted. i will always prefer base station tracking as a matter of principle alone

So is slime VR not a good way to go currently? I'm just starting to get into VR and think FBT looks like something I really want to get into. I saw slimevr, and thought it looked like a cool concept. Slimevr is a pain to set up and you need 2.5ghz internet since it runs by you're internet but if you don't mind spending some time setting it up then buy slimevr

Some people say putting the Bluetooth. Dangle in the USB 3.0 sometimes it's slow tracking but putting it in the USB 2.0 in improves tracking

you have a gaming pc right? afaik the haritora only works on steamvr. i could be wrong though

For my Quest I have Virtual Desktop. You're also able to control your desktop using SteamVR or Oculus Software
Question do you need the dongle? I’m using a gaming laptop to connect my haritorax and there a option in setting for Bluetooth
If you already have Bluetooth inside your PC, you do not need the dongle

For me? Personally no. It took me a good minute to get it on there, but after that I didn't have much trouble with the other sensors
