Love Singapore airlines. I haven’t flown in their business class yet, but flown business class with Qantas and Air Canada. 1 downside about business class is, you’ll struggle to fly economy on your next flight

Yesss! I love how safe it feels walking around on your own. I never worry about catching the train late, walking around in the night time or leaving my bag somewhere while I order food. So good.
@@travelforphoebe oh yes when my local friends there told me just leave a packet of tissues or your keys to reserve the table at the hawker centre and no one will ever take it (the sg locals, can’t speak for international travellers ha ha) I was sceptical. For travellers from UK, there's no need for the EZ-Link card. You can use any of the popular FinTech cards such as Revolut, Chase, Starling etc,. You can use them direct on the MRT or buses. Just remember to always use the same card to tap on entry and exit as that is how they calculate your journey costs

Hiya! It’s always a great surprise to be upgraded to business class and SQ knows how to do business! I got upgraded at KLM but it was only better food and that’s it. Seats were the same as economy, just the middle seat was left empty. For the food I reckon all food with ‘masala’ in the name is gonna be great. Tikka Masala is my favorite! Thank you for sharing your experience and have a great week ahead 🤙

Do you figure out what kind of shots you want before you start to film?
What gear are you using?
Are you constantly filming as well - like never turning the record button off?
Hey Krista! Great questions. I have a rough plan for the video before I start filming and I know the kind of shots I need to get. I’ve been doing it for a while now and editing so many of them I know which shots are essential to tell the story. No, never film constantly! You have to back-up and store all those files and it takes me hours each day. If you film constantly you’ll be out of batteries and spending hours and hours backing up. You have to be really selective about what you film. It’s a learning process - you just gotta start and then work out which shots are useless, which shots you should’ve got but didn’t (and get them next time) and eventually you find a rhythm. I use my iPhone and Nikon Z30
TOPS - Will be staying at Shangri-la Hotel Singapore when I leave Bangkok will stay there for 5 days then depart for Brisbane. I glad I came across you, I'm very pleased. John

Hey Phoebe, you have just wakened the travel bug in me. I love Singapore and had to put a trip on hold due to Covid and have not been brave enough to travel again yet. I am 64 yrs and have started checking prices now. It doesn’t look as busy as it used to be is that right, are people still hanging off travel? Can’t wait for your next update so i can see all the places I know cos I have been travelling there since i was 17,I’ll l let you do the maths. 😂. Great question! I’ve worked with Singapore Airlines many times over the years as past of their #SquadSQ. We were talking about another project and I mentioned I’d booked a flight with them and just wanted them to know I’d be filming, so they could let their onboard staff know. I didn’t ask them for anything 🥰 But when I got to the airport they saw me and pulled me out of the queue and said they had a spare seat and were able to upgrade me. It was so very generous of them and I’m so grateful! Definitely a privilege of having this channel and all of the people who support and watch 🙏🏼 I did get a free upgrade once with another airline from economy to first!!! And it happened because they had overbooked the flight and had no seats left and I was the last person to check in. Just blind luck 🍀

Video looks great. If this a first try at editing while travelling, you've got it down and have nothing to worry about. One question - at about 6:04 you've got a shot from inside your Dad's car where we see you and the camera in the reflection in the side mirror. It looks like you've got the camera sort of concealed inside a . . . cat, a small dog?? What is that? I've rewatched it and I'm laughing even if I can't figure it out.🤔☺

Rava Dosa is my favorite... They add diced onions, green chilies, curry leaves, spices etc....not that common in Spore... Normally I have in Johor Bahru
