    What fantastic insight by Joe from Lawn Saloution Australia. The amount of work they do to make sure we get the results we are looking for when purchasing lawn. I would like to give a bit of shout to you Brenton for putting in the time to make this video as well.

    Wow, thanks Brenton for making the trip & Joe for the tour, that was very eye opening as to what it takes to bring a product to market.
    So it must take 10+ years till they actually have a product available in commercial qty's to be able to sell to the retail market, that is a long lead time, especially if a competitor comes a long in the final year or 3 with a better product!

    • @theaussielawn

    Great video Brentton, very keen to see how you keep maximum colour in your warm season grass, during winter. I'm sure that is on a little of people's wish list, can't wait.

    • @theaussielawn
      @theaussielawn  ปีที่แล้ว

      I can only do so much apart from that winter will take its course but i will give it my best shot and see how much colour I can keep in it

      @restoblastrestoblast154 ปีที่แล้ว

      @The Aussie Lawn it's the worst thing about winter, even in QLD, i wonder how iron every 3 weeks would go ? I will certainly be following what you do Brentton.

    Cheers mate, I live 20mins from LSA and am going to stop in. Will be great to see the side by side comparison of SGZ and Primo.
    Going to replace the buff at the parents new place and Zoysia Australis looks a good substitute. May become the new substitute for Kik in Australia.

    "you probably have some in your pocket already" hahahaah that would be me! I collect grasses here and there. I need more vases now. Still just a few cultivars here. I would love to get some Platinum TE, some of that Primo (!!!), some TifGrand, and some TifTuf. I probably have some Celebration, but not sure what that is and some Diamond Zoysia again not sure, but that thing is pretty (!!!).
    Yes, it's not uncommon for me to arrive home with some grass in my pockets lol

    It’s funny that you’ve been keeping it secret but LSA announced Primo in turf talk in 2019. I honestly thought they had you trialling L1F, the Z.Matrella and Z.Minima hybrid. Hope you stuck some of that in your pocket while Joe wasn’t looking 😂

    • @theaussielawn
      @theaussielawn  ปีที่แล้ว

      I had to follow the agreement mate. I actually think there will be a brighter future in the Primo than the L1F as is been around a similar amount of time .
      It was a great day spent down there I tell ya

    Best episode ever! This is exactly the info I love to hear. Well done Brenton.
    Interesting to hear the LS compare with the competition. Did you have any thoughts on how the T31 compared to the Tif turf?

    • @theaussielawn
      @theaussielawn  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks John, I have both here at home too, I'm not sure that the hype around t31 is fully justified.

    Brilliant, Brilliant video mate. Thanks for going to so much effort to bring us all such high quality content. Very informative. Did spot a little bit of turf farm salesman bullshit? I have seen plenty of Buffalo Yellow fungal issues in Sir Walter Lawns all over the central coast, lake Macquarie and Newcastle in the last few years. Particularly when its humid. Have been told that it has been a big issue in some farms, and i can promise you it's around in home lawns. Most people just have no idea the even have a issue, they just see the grass going yellow and think its drying out. Having said that, they seem to just recover slowly on their own or quickly when you hit it with some fungicide.
    This video should be shown at tafes to apprentices. Excellent work mate.
